This collection is so under-appreciated!! I think I'm the only one who loves it!! Although, this jacket is SERIOUSLY over-priced.

^Maybe it's under appreciated in this thread, but I don't think they are having trouble shifting it in the stores. As for me I am loving the new collection and although I have resisted the urge to buy any of the catwalk pieces so far - I have already bought 2 sweaters, one leather jacket and a coat from the house under Pedro Melim Andersson (sp!).

That coat is expensive, but Chloe prices are inline with other high end design houses. I think the prices always come as a bit of a shock at Chloe because the design ethos is so young and breezy compared to say YSL, Chanel or Vuitton - where prices are comparable.

there's an article of Paulo Melim Andersson (current designer for Chloe) in one of the Vogue U.S. magazines... He talks about his influences, inspiration behind this fall collection, and also behind him there's his moodboard featuring some inspiration pictures...
The issue was around April, May, June
Does anyone know if someone had scanned it? It's in the reference section at the (closed on strike) city library

Chloe was starting to get really boring... I absolutely LOVE what the new designer's done with it. It's so edgy, moody and intelligent. And the colors! It really suits my taste... I would definitely wear of lot of those pieces if I could afford to!
However, does this mean Paulo has left Marni?

i saw the people behind Chloe on tv, the ones who choose who the next designer is.. and the guy was saying, "We already know what he [Paulo] is all about and.."
that's all I remember but it's interesting he said that

I don't really like Marni because its never strong enough as a collection.
SOO I loved how this was Marni but done in a Chloe aesthetic. Its just GENIUS!

I wonder how's it selling in stores!
