Chloe Malle Named Head of Editorial Content of US Vogue

Given that she has to work under the supervision of Anna, I guess it’s the most logical and safe choice for Vogue at this time.

Hopefully she has convictions, a taste of her own but also a vision to make her Vogue feel fresh and slightly different from Anna’s.

It will be interesting to see her team, the photographers she will push. I don’t expect nothing drastically different though.

I've never heard of Malle but I am sure she will play well by the former editor's playbook.

I like her on the podcast, but I kind of get the impression that she doesn't care about fashion at all. (Basically an Andy Sachs or even Andie Anderson, lol.) Vanity Fair probably would've made more sense for her.
She really doesn't, half of the time when Chioma mentions hot new/emerging designers, Chloe has no idea who she's talking about. I feel like her only interests are Taylor Swift, gossiping about bland celebrities and what they wear + watching children movies with her kids lol.

Major UGH at this news. It's just completely bewildering to me how someone who appears to have zero interest in fashion gets the top job at American Vogue. Not excited at the thought of Chloe Malle heading up US Vogue, whatsoever. Another win for nepotism, I guess.
