Yes! I totally get what you mean with Alma-Tadema!It reminds me of Alma-Tadema. Bourgeois taste. I like the cast except Rianne van Rompaey she always looks the same.

This is all so gorgeous, one of my favorite campaigns this season.
What I love about Natacha's Chloé and especially the campaigns is that it seems like the right kind of glamour to aspire to. The girls look sun kissed, healthy and serene while never being badly dressed. It's the woman that tries to live a balanced life; does very good at her job to earn all this money for great clothes, organic food and travels with her friends and does meditation and yoga to unwind but never brags about it, doesn't think she's better than everyone else just because she has an exquisite taste in books or stars the day with a green juice. If anything, it makes it easy for me to spin a tale and that's what campaigns should really be about.
Exactly my thoughts. This looks way too polished and stiff for what is my idea of Chloé.The campaign looks like a more sophisticated, cinematic take on whatever sh*t Dolce & Gabbana has put out over the years.

I wasn't actually commenting on the collection itself, but the campaign. Out of perhaps all the fashion houses out there, Chloé had been among the most consistent in the visual representation through their campaigns - a lot of movement and free spirit and that is simply what's missing in this campaign. Had I not known the clothes and accessories in the pictures, you could easily persuade me that this is a Zara campaign. Which, at the end of the day isn't a bad thing at all I guess, as long as it works for the brand's new direction. She understands what High Fashion is. It's Grown Up and Chic. It's not trying to please anyone or go after a demographic. It's beautiful models wearing beautiful clothes. Isn't that what Fashion is?
boring I miss 2000s chloe.
