Casual Friday takes many forms. For some it’s elevated pajama dressing; for others, it’s fashion-forward sneakers. But more often than not, denim is the go-to, and when worn the right way, it can be surprisingly interesting. Just look to Chloë Sevigny for sartorial guidance; when the actress and style icon stepped out this morning in New York, she offered a lesson in how fashion girls can bring edge to a low-key uniform.

Sevigny wore a pair of heavily distressed boyfriend jeans, splattered with white paint and shredded at the knee. The effect was cool, yet unapologetically comfy, though she added polish by lacing into Oxfords sans socks. Her summery, gingham shirt featured eye-catching black ruffles to offset the menswear-inspired shoe, while its gathered sleeves gave a fun touch of volume. A roomy carrier with a tiki wood top handle was an ideal choice for toting a change of clothes and went perfectly with her Wayfarer sunglasses. To cap it all off, Sevigny’s classic timepiece lent professional polish—fit for Friday or any other day of the week.

I't not just here, it's also on some of the other threads on TFS! It's seems it's mostly words with an accent (e.g. é, ö, ü etc)...
