Chloe 'Silverado' Bag

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to get Medium Silverado in Creme/natural python color? I know it's from last season, but wondered if any store still have them in stock. TIA!

wintotty, that was from a couple seasons ago and no longer in stores. if you want one you'll have to look on ebay. i've seen them pop up here and there. but be sure to buy from an honest or well known seller :flower:

I have a chocolate silverado. Can I use applegard leather conditioner and waterproofing spray on it for protection? I know that the buffalo leather is more sensitive to scratching/etc. so not sure if the conditioner will ruin it? thanks!

I have the all leather chocolate silverado.....not sure if yours is python. I used applegard conditioner on mine a couple of times and it's fine. The leather didn't change and it took away a lot of my scratches. :flower:

Oh.....that's too bad. I saw one on Ebay, but I'm not sure if I want to purchase something off Ebay....considering if something happened, and store won't take it for repair or something.......

I find it way too flashy for me (I hope you're referring the silverado with the snake skin pattern all over the bag, because that's the one that I have). I bought it at that time because it was so popular. Right now, I'm under the waitlists for the paddington bag. New arrival should be available by early march :woot:

Yes, that's the bag I'm talking about. I personally think that bag is really beautiful.....

Which Paddy are you getting? I have Whiskey, and should be receiving Off White today. I love Paddy!!

That's the same one I have! Did it darken the leather first but then dried ok? I will have to give it a shot then. Thanks so much!

Yes, it did darken it at first. I almost freaked when I put it on, but then it dried and looked the same. I should've done it before I started using the bag because I have some color transfer on the back from my jeans and I heard applegard prevents this. I know I had to use a lot more conditioner on the silverado than my paddy. The leather just seems so thick and hard to get the conditioner on. Hope this helps! :flower:

Helps a lot! I will do what you said and try not to freak out lol. The part where I think the lotion will sink in tons is the strap where the bag snaps in front and the pieces along the bottom of the bag. It seems like my bag has about 4 different types of leather on it. her and will die if it doesn't come out right :)

Mine is the same way.....there's like 4 different leathers on it. Each panel on the front seems to be different and the straps/buckle are different. They're really smooth. I know.....I LOVE my silverado. I can honestly say that I don't love any other bag as much as I love that one. Most would think that's strange, but it's just a great bag. Don't worry, it will come out OK. It does darken, but it dries just like the original leather. I'm afraid to spray. I said I was going to do it today, but I tend to be heavy handed with spray. I know that a lot of girls recommend putting the lotion on first and then spraying. I guess I'll maybe spray from a distance!!

Saw the S06 python silverado bags during a visit to Chloe NYC...could not get the brown tones out of my mind...after a bit of "dialing for python", I received my new bag. Love it...it is the large size...the bag (including handles) is much softer than I expected... Hmmm, now to use my new bag...:D

SoCal that bag is gorgeous!!!

Kelsbags do you find that the shoulder straps on the newer buffalo leather are shorter than the calfskin ones? I had a naturel and didn't like it due to the color but the straps fit better over my shoulder. The buffalo seems much stiffer and not as flexible. Any thoughts as to how to stretch the straps out a little more and make them more flexible??

wow looks great! where did you get! this is the NEW spring? I want a brown so bad!

i'd love an all leather silverado, but does the strap fit over your shoulder? i can never be bothered to carry a bag in my hand all the time!

Great bag, so cal!!!!!!!!

Hy, I have the all leather in chocolate - and I can fit it over my shoulder comfortably. I'm tall and slim.

SoCal, that's a beautiful python silverado!

Hyze, I didn't have any problem fitting the regular silverado satchel over my shoulder. The doctor bag was a slightly tighter fit, and the new tote didn't fit comfortably at all.

Love the bag, SoCal!!! I love the silverado.....now you're making me want a python one!!

Pixie, I've got to try mine on the shoulders.....I like handheld bags, so that's how I always carry it. I'll let you know....I've got to take my baby to the doc. She woke up this morning and her eye was swelled shut. How did your conditioning job turn out?

Hmm...yummy brown python there SoCal, it's one of the best brown shades that I have seen in a long time :)

^ Thanks all! I saw two gorgeous brown python shades at Chloe NYC. This one (I will call warm brown, slight cognac tone) and a darker chocolate brown. Both were gorgeous. I have wanted this bag for a while, but it took some time for the "right" shade (IMO) to become available again. Happy now!
