Help Chloe Colors

Hi girls I need your help.
I bought a chloe bag today at Nordstrom-I don't know what is the style ( I am not that savy when it comes to Chloe bags) The tag says that the color is TAN _ I just saw at Neiman Marcus online the bag I bought the one at NM says the color is whiskey...
I know all of the girls here know the styles colors etc- so can someone please tell me if the tan is the same as whiskey ? Please help me!!

YASSIRA, whiskey and tan are two different colors. The whiskey has a little more orange in it, and overall the color is slightly darker than the tan. I think you may have purchased one of the Paddington bags, not the Silverado. Congrats on your purchase. I hope you enjoy your new bag.

Now I have another problem - Perhaps the whiskey looks better? I could still return it and get the whiskey somewhere else but I haven't seen it- just online- what should I do ?? what do you think? which one do you think is prettier for the summer? Anyone can throw their two cents to this confused person??

Between the tan and the whiskey which one would you choose?
I love the texture and the price was really great I mean much cheapier than my spies!!! Which one looks prettier the tan or the whiskey? I always ask my husband when it comes to bags he has good taste but now I can't- if he knows I bought another bag he will have a heart attack!!!!

Hi everyone, new to the Silverado thread, but just spent some time "getting to know" you all and your gorgeous bags! Has anyone seen any chocolate brown Silverado totes floating around? I saw a girl carrying one last week and fell instantly in love! I haven't been able to get it out of my head since. Anyone have any tips? thanks!!

slk321 - which tote do you mean? if it's the open top style (that i thought was discontinued but apparently is not) chloe nyc has one right now! if you're interested pm me because i have it on hold and i'll give you the info so you can call the store and order it...

The Silverado tote has the open top. The satchel has the zipper top but some s/a's call the satchel a tote. So, be aware of that and specifiy in your search. Here is my chocolate Tote from AW05. The flash made it look shiny; it's not IRL.

roey - it's a mystery...as you know, that's the one i just bought in black from bg (am still waiting for the second i had sent to arrive). and i haven't seen the one at chloe (just spoke to them on the phone this morning) but he said it does have the open top and claims the style was not discontinued this season at least...

Congrats SoCal! I actually have the silverado tote in chocolate and wear it daily (not just trips). I get tons of compliments on it and have had a hard time changing bags since getting it. Enjoy!!!!!!

roey & cougess (& anyone else out there with any info or advice)...
i have been coveting the large open tote that i believe both of you have but i thought they were no longer available when much to my surprise i found them in bergdorfs today! i bought one because i was afraid it was going to disappear again but before i take off the tags just wanted how you have found the style? and in particular if you think the straps have stretched at all to make it easier to wear on your shoulder (this has definitely happened with my mulberry roxys and balenciaga twiggys so i am keeping my fingers crossed)! thanks so much for any words of wisdom!

I have not used mine enough for the straps to stretch - but the leather on the handles is pretty strong, so I'm not sure it will ever stretch. Its a great hand/arm held bag and it holds a ton. I think I don't use it that much because I can't carry it on my shoulder, but I put so much stuff in it that it gets too heavy to carry on my arm!

As for the doctor style silverado - I have the medium one in black leather. It holds more than the medium silverado, so the size is better for me, but I miss the outside pockets along the sides. However, I saw a woman with a brown one in Saks a few weeks ago and her bag looked great because it was so worn - natural distressing.

Yesterday I went to get another paddy in whiskey but they didn't have it so I got a black silverado tote.Yes it's BLACK but I just can't resist black bags!!!!!!!!!I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also i posted in the yay or nay thread but didn't get much response so thought i'd try here as well...i have the opportunity to get the large doctor in chocolate at a fairly significant discount. any thoughts? again i'm mostly concerned that the handles will be a tight fit on the shoulder but i'm also unfortunately such a sucker for a bargain...

slk, try Tracey Ross in Los Angeles. Also, call NM and have them do a computer search for the bag. Apparently there are a few floating around out there but rare.
