Why do they always say it's never been used?

I do it because people always ask me if it's ever been used even if the bag is clearly described as "brand new." I agree that eBay is full of cheats and liars, but as someone who has perfect feedback, always responds to inquiries with nice thoughtful answers, doesn't charge exhorbitant fees, posts lots of good pics, and gives detailed explanations for where the bag came from, when I bought it, why I'm selling, any defects, etc., I still get rude and suspicious questions about authenticity. and it's irritating, especially when people don't know what they're talking about.

Did you buy one? It says next to the chloe silverado that its not for export.

The "not for export" statement just came up recently.

It wasn't there when i first saw the item.

I did place an order for the bag, but then I got an email from luisaviaroma saying that they had exceeded their quota for exporting python products.

Now I am trying to see how I can work this out with them. Of course, they are always willing to remit my money back but damn i want the bag so badly!

Oh..why can't I just buy a Chloe bag off the net easily?!!! *bangs head against the wall*

Thanks for the info.. on the site there's also chloe small handbag and that's 100% python and it does not say not for export.

I am bit confused.. I guess, I should just write to luisa viaroma and ask.

I believe they can export python but then there is the quota issue..since python is an endangered species (and that's starting to make me feel bad for wanting them as my handbag... )

Hi chiangsi1980...why don't you get your refund from Luisa and buy from Chloe London or Paris? They will send internationally, at least that what was what the SAs informed me when I called them.

Which one are you thinking of getting?

This actually looks really good in person.....the colors are very deep and "rich" so it can be worn year round. This color and the natural are my favorites (though the brown is nice too, of course).

I called Chloe NY last time and they told me they don't ship internationally..damn.. I should have checked with Chloe London/ Paris too!

Are there 2 or just 1 shade of Brown this season? Are you getting the Large or Medium? Let us know how you go...we're wishing you lots of good blessings to get the bag you want...
Am still dreaming for the Gold one , preferably Medium but am equally happy to settle for the Large, as I totally trust pucci_mama's recommendation.. Have to figure out how to have it delivered to me, safely, without being charged the local customs tax! For such a high cost purchase, our local postal system can hardly be depended upon!
Sigh.....the Gold silverado is giving me butterflies in my tummy..
Really wish I was in London/Paris to get my hands, literally, on one!!!

The large gold is now for sale at Ebay... You could ask the seller to take picture of it, while holding it, so you get a better impression of the size

The two-toned gradient brown one is the Spring 2005 version and the solid dark brown one is the Summer 2005 version.

The Summer one is basically the same dark brown leather and the darker color python that's in the Spring version, but solid.
