Taitai - I think the green silverado pictured above is the same one as the emerald green one that was pictured on the Chloe website with the red silverado..if thats what you're talking about.
I would love to have the large size silverado..would be able to fit so much more stuff in it.

Thanks vintage princess! The pictures above reminded me of the Aqua silverados that they had in winter.

Sugar - I wonder if the bag that you saw at Bergdorf's was aqua or emerald green? I know Bergdorf's had aqua a few weeks ago. Very confusing!

the aqua is a lighter seafoamy color (the one vintage posted) while the emerald is a rich green hue.
really don't like the aqua... i heard there was some indigo blue color... that sounds nice

Summer 2005 colors

I have not seen the new "Dark brown" to be released for summer 2005... however, as far as I know, it will NOT have the natural snake markings on it. I heard that it will be very similar to the original cognac color (which is what the Chloe boutique calls the original one). Also, for summer 2005, it will only come in the LARGE size, so no medium.

I also heard that an Indigo color is coming out, which sounds lovely. However, the Chloe boutique in NYC did not order this, so they will not be carrying it. I think the one in Paris will.

I'm a bit concerned about the Silverado turning out to be a trendy or seasonal 2004 bag. Like LariatGal's story, I heard several stores in London like Harvey Nicks are selling the regular leather (not python) Silverados at heavily discounted prices. Not a good sign!

I have no fear that the PYTHON one will remain coveted, and will not go the sale route... it is made in such limited quantities, and the demand far exceeds the supply.

And Chloe bags, for the most part, are SEASONAL. They come out with the classic shapes (i.e. the famous Bracelet bags) every season, but with different designs on them. They also come out with truly seasonal bags, that they never reproduce again after that season. So, after the end of that season, any bags that have not been sold DO GO ON SALE! This is because they have to make room for the new season's bags. and they cannot keep the old ones on display. It does not mean that the brand is "getting old" or "losing its touch".

I prefer the dark green as well..what I dont like about the aqua green is that the color looks really washed out and dull.

i agree, i am not a big fan of the aqua... i don't like how the python does not match the leather.... it just looks weird for some reason.

i think the dark brown is the best, and the natural too.

i like the paddingtons too, but i am in love these blue bags, the color is great

i've tried tying the scarf onto my bag like that but it just sdoesn't look as nice when i do it... i'm bad wiht scarves. i kinda want the natural one now, but i dunno... GAH i'll stick with my paddingtons. i just can't get enough of chloe bags
