The new tan silverado from the Fall collection looks more attractive than the previous one. Think it's the one that esiders has, which she has posted pics off earlier on. The buffalo skin will look better with age. Perhaps its due to the different types of leather between the Spring and Fall collections that make the tan appear in different shades. The final colour depends on how each leather will react with the dye.

From Aimee3's photos, it's unsurprising to note that there would be some concern about the tan being too "orangey". However, from esiders' photos, the tan looked to have age well and will darken with time.

All the info posted about the differences between the Spring and Fall silverados make sense. There are slight variations which Chloe may deem as improvements to a popular bag.

Aimee3, so sorry to hear you do not like both bags. Any others you may be interested in?

I just saw 2 more ladies today carrying the silverado silver metallic python - what are the odds that I saw 3 ladies in this past week carrying the exact same metallic python silverado bags??? To think they were suppose to be 'rare' and these bags are not found where I am located...
Anyway - I am officially in love with the metallic python and want one now!
Just checked out eBay & I am very confused now - experts in this thread, please help me check out this ebay auction #6795995483... its for the metallic bronze python silverado... The pics look good, everything appears authentic... BUT i don't get it why the seller is selling so cheap (isnt this bag retailing at $2-3k+ at boutique??) - I am going paranoid after reading so many scams... anyone here care to enlighten me?

My 1st thought when I saw that auction was WOW! the price is really reasonable... then I remembered scams all around eBay.... the price is really so luring... u guys reckon there is no way this metallic python should sell at this price??? My other guess is that it might a 'switch & bait' trick... Argggghhhhh....

because no one in their right mind would sell a hot bag for significantly less than what they paid for it -- they would have to be ********. but I will take a look at the auction and give you other reasons.

actually, she's asking $1899 opening and $2000 BIN which is not "cheap" (granted those were my words, but I assumed from your description that we were talking about $500). I think it's real -- it looks real and it appears she has sold other real bags (you can e-mail those buyers and confirm). so why is she selling it for a couple hundred below retail? perhaps she just wants to make sure it sells and is not in the business of selling bags to make a profit. while this bag is still hot, it is no longer rare and you can see by looking at the auctions that they're not selling that well. ask her.

Thanks Lilygirl... ooh, that price is not cheap??? I reckon it was cheap since it was below retail price... anyhow, I did some investigating myself just now... I am trying to convince myself that I must maintain a skeptic about this auction - firstly, this seller is from philippines (alittle wary of sellers from asia, no offence here)... secondly, this is like her 3rd time trying to sell this bag - its puzzling how no one bought it since she was offering at this same price in previous auctions... thirdly, she is a very new seller and only accepts wire transfer or western Union... On this few reasons, I decided I rather not take the chance... Price is really enticing but logically, I will be taking this big risk.
But thanks again lilygirl and chiangsi for helping me out... i guess if there wasnt TFS, i would have instantly hit on the buy-it-now button, all out of impulse...

Yes lilygirl, I agree totally... you guys have been great help - I learnt alot after joining TFS - for sure one of the pointers to note was not to be a sucker to eBay scam sellers... ;p

So where should I start calling to get this gorgeous metallic python bag... should I try my luck and put my name at NAP or LVR? Lastly, anyone can tell me how much is this bag retailed at now? Thanks heaps!
