pucci mama...chill. it's just my opinion. i'll try to take a pic if i have time...i just don't think that it has much stayng power as many other designers are using that kind of snake print and the print itself just isn't that pretty. imo it just doesn't seem like something that will stay past summer. also because its real python, the placement of the scales won't always look as nice. but if you love it, it doesn't really matter if its in or out or tacky to others, as long as its not just plain obscene

hmm... On the Chloe' Ad picture it looks perfect. I mean, I know it's reptile but on that picture it seems more settle..like classy. is the lightning bad on it??

Did you see the picture it in weird strong lightning? Or normal daylight? which magazine was it??

Maybe I can track it down myself first ting tomorrow..

pucci mama, i absolutely agree it looks perfect in the ad pictures... but they're designed to make the bag look divine. in the pic i saw the model was just holding it in i believe it was natural lighting.. and the scales didn't have the harmony that the one in the ads did. it's an american magazine though. i'm gonna go flip through my mags

alright its from the latest american elle with keira knightley on the cover... the ed has sooo much snakeskin stuff with similar, if not identical print as the chloe bag... they've got boots, a coach bag, a dolce&gabbana bag, jackets, belt, skirt, ballet flats... its just an overload.
anyway, here it is

what a terrible picture! it can't look that washed out in real life. I wonder if the leather trim will darken over time -- that will look nice.

it should darken over time... the leather trim on my brown one is starting to darken a little and i it even more

will they really make you buy it if you go there and don't like it? even fendi, which special orders the spy bag, will let you decline. this is such a hot bag I can't imagine they would be worried about not being able to sell it.

When you go into Chloe London to pick your bag up, is it possible to check out what other styles did the Silverado come in? Will they be getting anymore? When? Just more info on the new shipment of these bags, if you don't mind....ppplleeeeeease!!!!!

I'm in Asia and desiring this bag where there is nowhere within 2 countries away that I can get one!! Have friend in London who can get one on my behalf, if there's any left....

So would appreciate any help....thanks!!!

Go to www.chloe.com and then you can check out some of the different styles. my silverado is about £1200 I think... this is for he medium one.

And nowone knows when the bag will come in store not even the S/A They are useless. If you are interested I suggest you call some store, see what they have and get on a waitinglist. As most of hem do.

The neutral one is over 60 people on.. I think that waitinglist is closed.

You can always check ebay.

You also must check out where in Asia you live.. Ive heard rumours that they cant take in snakeskin in seartin parts

But I suggest you call Chloe ASAP.

I will be heading back to SoCal soon (LA/OC area) and would like to check out the Silverado myself personally.

Does anyone have any idea on which stores in the area carry Chloe? I suppose it will be hard to obtain the Python versions due to certain Californian laws????

idon't think any stores will have the python...CA law. you're better off going to vegas

I don't think you realize how popular these bags are. the chances of you actually seeing one in person are very small. the only chance you'll have is if the person who's holding it hasn't picked it up yet. but you definitely won't see any python -- illegal in CA.

Just occurred to me..if python is illegal in CA, does that mean it's illegal to carry the python silverado in CA? (Which seems kinda silly considering how many Hollywood stars have been photographed with it)

So, if I should own one next time...I just can't waltz into LAX with it on my shoulder?
