I don't know about the muggers in your area, but I guarantee the ones in mine wouldn't know a chloe bag from a hole in the wall so the idea of one of them selling my bag on eBay is inconceivable.

Well have you tried all chloe' Stores? You can call the one on Sloeane st.

And anywhere else you can think of, that sells chloe' bags, IMO it's worth a try.

You might want to try calling the handbag section at Selfridges in London.

i think it's too late for this bag to be in stores anymore. i have been looking for a green from the same season and missed out on the one i saw on ebay and am kicking myself over it! if anyone knows where to get a large green please let me know!

sophia. if u did find it in a store you will have to pay customs taxes too. also many places won't ship python internationally because i think it's illegal. you might want to take that into consideration as well when making your decision.

I was told never to stuff a bag with anything but tissue paper acid free and always cover the bag with a dust bag and never to cover it with any kind of plastic. A leather bag needs to breath and the plastic can cause it to sweat and damage the bag. ALso the leather needs air so with bubble wrap it is not getting any air flow.

I stuff my silverado with tissue paper, but thats really the only bag I have that can loose it's shape. I have 3 small closets, on the floor of 2 I have shoes, and on the floor of the last I have my bags. I have 3 dustbags covering the floor, then I have the bags, and then I have another 3 dustbags acting as a "blanket" to protect from dust. It's a bit of a weird set up but I really dont have the room or the patience to do anything more.

ah, that makes more sense. at least with the paddington you have the big lock which can serve as a weapon.

did you actually ask him? because it appears that it did not sell (but he may have sold it outside of eBay). he's had it for a long long time so he might be willing to lower the price.

I received 2 silverados today which I ordered from Saks and Neiman's and they are so different from each other. that I'm wondering if one is from a different season and that's why...or maybe one is fake?!?
Buttercream Silverado is soft, leather looks pretty uniform as far as color goes. On the top of the bag, on each end of the zipper area, there are NO raised up little tabs (see esiders photos in post 1820 on her tan silverado). This buttercream one doesn't have these. Inside the bag, there is ONE zipper compartment, and nothing on the other side. The Tan bag (in addition to the inner zipper compartment) has a tiny little pocket made of fabric smack in the middle of the other side of the bag, but inside the bag, about big enough for a credit card. Another huge difference, is the outer pockets of the bags...where the woven leather weaves around the outer pockets, one bag has a cute leather tie that hangs down about 2 1/2 inches, but the other bag has NO tie. Which is newer or is something not authentic here? One bag didn't even come with the dust cover!!! Grrr! The tan bag has lots of scratches and the leather is not really the same color. Much "harder" leather too.
