Are the prices on the bags going up? I saw the bronze python bag on NM site and it was $2140.00. I was in NM yesterday and the same bag was $2340.00. I do not know if it was marked wrong or if they are having a price increase.

Baghag - it's beautiful. And as was already pointed out, most of the inner leather sections of these did have scratching already - it's just the nature of the leather. So, enjoy it!!!

NM on-line and NM stores are two different corporate entities and evidently the on-line entity is pricing the metallic pythons the same as the non-metallic styles which is $200 less. I bought one in the store and paid the higher price and am not too happy about it.

Cougess, I did not know that about NM. Can you return the bag and purchase it online to save money? I am surprised about the pricing.

I have their email addr. I don't think they have the balck python left all the stocks are move pretty fast. You are looking at the past two seasons bag...don't think they still have it.

Klow, are you scales curling? Mine are a little bit, it doesn't really bother me that much becuase you can't see unless you look up close, but I dont know if it's normnal or not. I'm just asking klow cuase I know she has the same bag as I do, but anyone's input is great

What does the python feel like? Is it smooth like a snake or does it have more texture?

it depends what color it is. the "natural" skin on the natural diamond is the smoothest I've felt -- the closest to like touching a real snake (without the cold slimy feel). on the other end are the metallics, which have a stiffer, more textured feel due to the metallic coating.

I've thought about that - but am concerned that the bag I will get through on-line is a beat-up return. I'm either going to keep mine or return it and look for a large bronze.

cougess...The Large Bronze would be a fabulous fabulous bag!!! Although I do not recall coming across any available for sale from the Chloe-endorsed websites such as LVR, NM etc. Have seen a few in ebay earlier in the season. Perhaps you can try one of the Chloe stores in Bahrain, Dubai or one of the Vila Moda in Qatar. Chloe Bahrain may not have the Large as the SA informed before that Large is difficult to sell there.
There's also Chloe London (international credit payment via phone is accepted) and Chloe Paris (only accepts direct bank fransfer).
All of the above stores may work out to be cheaper than NM stores, even after shipping is included i.e. Chloe Paris charges approx. 40 Euros.

No my one hasn't been curling yet. I haven't been carrying mine for a month now. But I think it will eventually that's natural for the real python skin.

Thanks! I found a large bronze at Nordstrom's. The SA located it in Minneapolis (of all places). She said there were only about 4 left in the system. For less than an additional $300, I upgraded from a medium to large b/c I do not have to pay tax on this bag. I tend to carry a lot of stuff in my bag and the medium is just too small - so the large is great for me!
