I bought the tan large silverado from Neiman Marcus... not my cup-o-tea. It was very stiff, the handles were too short... I definitely prefer my paddy instead. Oh well... I tried the large silverado! Maybe I should try the medium?

Was it the large doctor style one on the NM website? Try to medium size - they have it in black on the website but I think you can get other colors (brown, red) in the stores. Its much better than the large!

I have the medium tan Silverado - the original style, not the doctor bag. I love it. It is a perfect medium sized bag, not clunky or awkward at all. It is not slouchy like the Paddington though due to the outer shell being buffalo leather, which is more structured.

My doctors are also medium size. Much better than the large IMO. Easy to wear on shoulders.

I received one as well and just cannot decide...

received my doctor's yesterday and although it fits great on my shoulder, it's missing some umphhh...maybe it's just the color...not too impressive in the dark brown.

I received it from Neiman's store and it is beautiful, but I returned it. There was something about it I just did not like.

may I ask why bagqueen? I saw one today and it was lovely. very similar in shape to the original silverado, but the straps seemed to fit better over the shoulder and the body is taller.

Emerald green medium silverado and black leather medium doctor style silverado. As you can see, there is a noticable size difference between the two bags. Comments on the green?

I'm not in love with it - I'd keep it if it cost $500, but not for $$$$

To all of you who are waiting for the chocolate silverado from the NM Christmas book, I saw it today in the store. The color is amazing. B) It's a gorgeous bag, but I didn't buy it because I didn't like the framed part of the bag. The frame made it too rigid across the top for me.

are you referring to the chocolate python doctor bag? i received it the other day in the mail but i wasn't impressed with the coloring...seemed common...plus it was the exact same color as my balenciaga twiggy.

Do any of you ladies that own a natural python or any other light colored Silverado find that underneath the handles it is darkening around the leather that is woven around the handles? I suppose this is normal with wear.

But I don't even use mine anymore because I'm scared of getting it dirty. I really think I want to sell it to get a darker color Silverado but I don't know if it will sell. dudeiloveyou's Natural Python has been relisted a couple of times already I believe.

I hope I'm not breaking any tFS rules, but I just want an opinion.

I know pucci has a natural silverado, maybe you can ask her? It sounds normal though for the handles to darken slightly.

The one I received had the skins started to lift on the edges so it just turned me off. I did love the look of it for someone else, but for the price I thought that was odd that it was doing that. Also the top did not open that wide and reminded me of a framed bag.

I received the "loden" python md. doctor today. , according to my husband and my father-in-law. Yes, they were invited to provide opinions at the "unveiling". The scales are taupe/green and the trim is green (silver-tone hardware). This one will go back into the mail tomorrow.

A photo of the chocolate md. doctor is also included. What do you think? I cannot make up my mind about this bag. I like it...but can't decide if it is too "Aspen" or something. Does it look western?

Finally, the red md. doctor? To keep or to return... I probably like this one the best (fit is the best, size is a bit different than the python, but I like the color/python aspect of the chocolate), but would I rather have this bag in red or a Ballenciaga???? Too many bags, so confused....

I don't really like the doctor style in general. Otherwise, I would love the loden in a regular medium silverado style.
