i'm having the same dilemma...i went to neiman's today feeling pretty confident in returning my chocolate python doctor and just as the sa took the bag out of the box, i had...eeks...second thoughts. it didn't help that her and a couple of other sa's said it was a great bag.

the reason i didn't care for it at first was that it looked so similar in size, and shape to my brown twiggy and spending two thousand more seemed almost ridiculous. i really wanted a python silverado, just not sure if i should wait for another color in the doctor style...

do any of you girls agree that the choco dr looks too similar to the brown twiggy?

Color wise probably both very similar but the style they are different. But if you have a doubt then return it. There are so many bags out there to choose and you might love it more than this one.

I purchased the all brown python silverado about 7 months ago when the second round of python silverados came out. It is a bit more matte with dark and light shades of brown whereas the first one seemed more one shade of brown... is this right? Also did they stop making the all brown python like I have or is it still possible to get one? TIA!!

i want to buy a silverado but the python is so hard to find since i live in canada.... any opinions on just the plain leather one.... do u guys think the black one is nice??

That was for s/s 04 only, you may only be able to find it on ebay but thats it.

Nordstrom's has a solid brown python silverado (I think they just received them) - like the one sugar posted a few pages back. Its very nice - the leather/python combo make the bag better looking than the doctor style bag (all python) in the same color.

girls, do all Chloe Silverados have serial # inside? I am considering buying a purse from a seller who got hers from netaporter. She couldn't find the serial # I mentioned I had in my older Silverado so she called netaporter. They told her there are no serial #s for Silverados and Paddingtons that they sell. is this true?

I don't they they have a serial number in the sense that it's unique to each bag, but I believe all chloe bags have a leather tag with numbers that identify the model and batch. it should be sewn to the inside of the inner zip pocket. I've never look on the Silverado, but I know the Paddington has it.

Yeap that the one I like the look of the python skin is quite matt. I know guess you like the grazed more.
