The campaign features Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Beatrice Borromeo and Anya Taylor-Joy:

Remember when Marion Cotillard would travel the world via the lens of various different photographers circa 2008 toting the Lady Dior? Those early campaigns are a far cry from the mediocrity that we now face under Maria Grazia Chiuri.

You would not think this is an accessories campaign, given the composition and photography. There's zero focus on the handbags. So unbelievably banal and lifeless - a complete flop of a campaign!

Marion photographed (photographs…) beautifully and the campaigns were gorgeous. I compare it to Portman’s beauty ads as I think she never fails.

‘unbelievably banal and lifeless’ is the perfect description for MGC’s tenure and everything under her helm.

Remember when they Launched the Marion Cotillard campaign and spent SO MUCH MONEY that they told John they couldn't afford a Mainline collection campaign for the FW2009 Collection.

This is depressing.

I hope they would re-release the Diorissimo instead of this terrible version of the Lady Dior…
Beautiful spokeswomen but boring campaign and bag.

The woman on the left is an unrepented transphobe so I'm really surprised that Dior would put out such a socially-charged campaign without keeping that in mind. I'm not even getting into the vulgar packaging of modern feminism for commercial gain because as the 'author' reminds us in these very pictures, that slogan t-shirt was really the start of it all. So it's sort of full circle for Dior, isn't it?

Anyway, dull campaign. If I'd read the cast and photographer credits only this is precisely what I'd expected. It's such a shallow approach to photograph 'serious' campaigns in b&w.

Maria Grazia destroying Christian Dior legacy for umpteenth time. Go away and launch your own brand.

Also starring Dilraba Dilmurat:

Emma Raducanu:

The absolute tripe of reading about someone "embodying the spirit" of a handbag when the person self-confesses in the advert to never having owned (i.e. having any interest whatsoever in) handbags before Dior handed them a free one as part of their promotional deal.

The new Dior bag - too small to contain someone's ego, too large to hold their integrity, but the perfect size for collecting a paycheque.

love that they went with Rosamund! the shots are good hopefully we’ll see them in the glossies to come.

Rosamund's pictures are great, she looks so elegant. I'm also happy to see Dilraba but find it interesting because she was a big ambassador for Vuitton in China. I wonder why they changed their direction with her.

Anya photographs so well!
on the first video she really is selling that bag! great work!
and the second video I love it, so simple but so much charisma, her voice is soothing and deep. excellent. and in Spanish!!! - lovely words about Mum. very heart warming.

and Rosamund! I wanna see more shots of her PLS would be great if they had done a video with her too.

finally happy with a Dior campaign!
