Out of everyone featured in this campaign, Rosamund Pike feels like a total breath of fresh air and it's so wonderful to see her fronting a Christian Dior advertising campaign. About time!

So now I wonder how does that work? She is paid to wear clothes she gets for free anyway? Lol

Im officially off the MGC train. These heavy Italian Matron looks are not French in any way and sully the name Dior. French clothes have a lightness to them that MGC cant execute. Even her gauzy looks seem like the model is trapped in netting rather than caressed by it.

idk how jennifer lawrence discussing PRODUCING A MOVIE is relevant to a modern woman.

if this was up to me id find a real working mum and show how the bag can go with her to work - maybe as an anastesiologist, then going to a sports game for her kids and maybe a quick casual dinner at a pizza place. I thought MGCs dior was supposed to be pro-woman and relevant to a busy womans life.

Drives me insane that a brand with such massive budget capabilities gives you nothing but some bland black and white studio shoot. Everything about this brand is purely lifeless. They could hire the best people for literally everything, showcase incredible creativity, and yet here we are.

LVMH isnt giving Dior a budget. Reminicent of Johns final seasons. IIRC the blue angels collection was studio shot too.
 
It looks like this bag flopped hard, it's been pulled off the website.
Honestly it's a pity, I think this is the best bag design from Maria Grazia alongside the east west version of the Lady Dior.
The book tote is nice too however it got too mainstream and now everyone assumes you're wearing a rep.
 
This campaign is in line with Dior in its current day era, which is boring and uneventful.
I guess they want it to just be safe and marketable. But this is so boring.
