Christian Dior S/S 2012 Paris

^No nowfashion posted the same looks at least 3 or 4 times. I don't know why, it has happened in many shows lately.

nowfashion has been getting crash errrors for 2 days
the images loop repeatedly

127 thats wow.
hope to see the whole collection

Honestly, I loved it. A whole lot better, a whole lot!
The set is better than what it's been.
I agree, the colors seem a little fall-winter, but it's a big improvement.

Obviously, it's better than expected, but then again if the models had come out wearing toilet seats that would still be better than that garbage Couture collection.

After Couture's epic disaster, i expected this to be a big mess. But it turns out to be a quite lovely collection, very ellegant and pretty.

I miss John :(

This was an okay collection, and it's true, better than the couture show.

I just saw the full thing on NowFashion, and it's the most shameful excuse for Christian Dior I've ever seen. So lifeless and cheap. It looks like a generic collection from New York Fashion Week. Even at his lowest, Galliano NEVER EVER made bad clothes. Boring? Maybe. Ugly? Maybe. Badly crafted? Never!
I know we're not supposed to mention models, but I'm serious when I say that the only thing that excited me was Miranda Kerr.

Well, it's not tragic, it's just boring as hell. Not that I was expecting a stellar show, but the runway and the lights still do remind me of Dior hype-ish splendidness.

the day wear items like the skirts and the short dresses, especially when paired with the hats that tilt to the side, look like they took one of the most conservative of John's work for Dior (HC Fall 2008) and really tried to emulate that and called it Dior.

overall much better than the last HC collection (but that's not really saying much). but if people were calling Dior the house of Bore when John was there, get ready for more house of Bore.

It's better than couture, but that's not saying very much at all. The collection just feels so empty. On the bright side, I can't say I'm disappointed because I wasn't expecting to like it.

The first look is toooo derivative of what he did for couture and was not the the right look to open the show...it is what it is. No one is going to really remember this, and if they do it will be for the lack of designer at Dior...and that last evening dress on Karlie looks like it walked off the Valentino runway...and yes to the hat thing! Reminds me of Fall 08 Couture...

I´m on board with those last posts, it is not a nightmare like that last couture show but I already forgot it!!!, and I closed the page a quarter of a second ago...

There are no specific trends in it, which is a pitty, with all this penchant for embellishments going on this season, prints, all this excitment!!! this looks soooooooo blah!!!

They need to hire someone ASAP!!

PS: Nice catwalk!!

It can easily be mistaken for a Jason Wu collection! :( But I'm glad that it's refined and beautiful, just not fit for DIOR!! :(
