I am amazed that Lacroix can do a theme as somber as medieval infused with Bram Stoker's vampires + pirates and still retain that undeniable Lacroix vibe.

It's so different from Tisci and McQueen's takes on darkness.

Such a gorgeous collection! When I first saw it I was feeling a bit suffocated by the opulence, but it really gives you a lot to see it in movement on the runway. So many fabulous pieces, I love these rich overcoats worn over simple dresses.

The soundtrack's really beautiful too, especially the piano piece in the third part and then Naturträne during Lily's entrance.
