Interesting - the colors are just like those in the YSL high loafers! Guess WE know what the spring spectrum is!

And farrahb: I saw a price of $495 listed along with the wet-shoe ad.

Does anyone know if Louboutin has a basic pointed toe stiletto pump this season? Like the ones Gwen Stefani wears all of the time?

whoever changed the title of the thread to "clichy pump," thank you... :flower: ... i'd been meaning to ask one of the mods to do this.

i believe there is a basic pump in a pointed toe available this season but i am not 100% sure. i do know for sure that they're doing the round-toed clichy in black patent (4" and 5" heel heights available).... you could try calling the louboutin boutique on madison ave. in nyc at 212-396-1884 and asking :flower:

I never thought Louboutin would go here, but Yes, he has. I just printed these out yesterday for a Spring 2006 look-book.

Call up the boutique in NYC. "Clichy" is around 500.00 USD at retail.

Hope this helps.

Those are stuning shoes! :) They are called "Pigalle" and are from last season.

I do not like the patent round-toed Clichys that much, but the silk ones are gorgeous! I wish I had found out about them earlier...

are there people who are honestly comfortable in 5 inchers?

I think my limit is 3"s

I have no problems with 5" heels.

i simply LOOOVE christian louboutin shoes, sooo pretty, but sooo uncomfortable and what is even worse, sooooo expensive ;-)
anyone wants to buy me some? ;-)

My lady and myself visited the Louboutin boutique in London on Saturday, hoping to they may still do the Pigalle and to see what else they had of interest.

Unfortunately they no longer do the Pigalle. (In fact the French assistant wasn't very helpful, giving us an abrupt "we don't do that style anymore" - he didn't suggest any similar shoes that we may like, as any good sales person would. Although this may be because he was working on his own, and already had a customer trying on shoes.)

They also had the Clichy, but only in a 4" heel, and to be quite honest, it looked like a very "average" shoe with the lower heel (looking at it on display - my lady didn't try it on).

The purpose of the trip was to find a quality classic plain black high court shoe (pumps to the Americans here).

We also popped in to Harvey Nichols and Harrods, but didn't see anything, so a disappointing trip. (Other than a buying a great pair of red summer wedges from the LK Bennett concession in Harvey Nics.)

Does anyone know of anywhere in the UK (ideally South of England) that might stock the Pigalle, or are we now out of luck?

net-a-porter.com used to have the pigalle (i remember it in black leather and in leopard print pony hair)... you might want to try there to see if they still have it, it might be on sale now
