Gracious, sorry, I didn't mean to start a fight. I just really like CL flats and I wish there were more. I would agree that a modest heel is more work appropriate than a flat in a conservative office, but not when you're really tall to begin with. Then a modest hell just brings too much attention. But maybe this isn't the forum for that.

Has anyone seen the Babel 100 with platform? I found them unused at a high-end second hand store in Paris. They look, feel and smell so real, and the sole is perfectly done. Of course I bought them. I can't find a picture of them anywhere though..

Oh brilliant, thanks for your help! I did think the platform was a bit different but it's always hard to tell in modelling vs product pics. I'm definitely going to get a pair.

the black moniques in a 37 are for sale on Potrero (a designer consignment shop), not excessively discounted... but worth a look, especially since you can zoom in on the suede
