Serious question for you girls: How do you explain it to your partners when you've splurged on a pair of Louboutins?
I never have to explain it to my partner fortunately, but when I have to justify it to myself (haha) I just remind myself that the classic styles are investments and will pay for themselves. They are better made, will last a lifetime with good care and, failing that, when he sees you wearing them, he'll understandSerious question for you girls: How do you explain it to your partners when you've splurged on a pair of Louboutins?
I compare it to purchasing art, or shame him by pointing out how much he spends on computers/gadgets/cars

I'm planning on getting my first pair this summer when I'm in London with my guy (since we don't have Louboutins anywhere in Switzerland ) but I know my guy will have zero tolerance for this. He's really not into fashion and finds brands like Tommy Hilfiger horribly overpriced, so he won't understand.
Thanks Eimii, I love them also. I may be getting a pair of blue patent soon also.Susan! Your Pigalles are so beautiful Especially the nude! WOW
Psylocke - is there any way you could buy the shoes when he is not around? My boyfriend understands my shopping addiction and knows that what I am buying will last me for years versus a cheap pair of shoes that won't last nearly as long. It's also my money and I will spend it how I want! I have also told the SA's not to mention the price of the total, but sometimes when you are buying high end stuff, they don't even tell you the price and just take your CC.
Good luck!
