i love the studded shoes, but i loved the ariella studded boots better... i wish i could find them somewhere!

I get so excited when I hear people talk about Louboutin flats. He's done some good ones and I just have no need for high heels.

I took a pair of Loubs in to be reheeled earlier this year and the woman at the counter looked at them and went "you know these shoes aren't actually meant to be walked in?"

Just a quick question, does anyone know the style name of the stretch OTK boots at NM at the moment: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/c...000141cat000149cat000199cat5130731cat21850737

And please, does anyone know if anywhere stocks them in black suede? There is literally no fashion item in the world I am obsessing as much about as these boots.

i see you bought into it:lol: i knew you couldnt stay resisting it for long:lol:B)
they are the plain over the kneee boots in black suede and a few weeks ago they were avaliable in black suede in the london boutique , call them up and see if they have it or see if harrods/selfrigdes do too:flower:

I would never ever buy Louboutin flats!! That is ridiculous, spending so much money on such an amazing brand and buying flats!!?? If you buy Louboutins you should buy heels and not the little 2" ones but tall ones like "Pigalles" and if you cant walk in heels then stick to flip flops from the 99 cent store! That's my two cents lol

dulci , and rosalyn, this pix of me avec loub monicas is for you.

A maintenance question..
Are velvet shoes easy to maintain?
How do they hold up in light rain for example?

I can walk in heels but I'm 5'11'' and work in a professional office where stilettos aren't appropriate. The fashion industry would be in much better shape if they started designing for women like me who like nice shoes but need to be business appropriate and that means designing more elegant flats. I mean, Michelle Obama wears a lot of flats too.

You should check this thread: http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f48/high-heels-won-t-help-achieve-high-ambitions-86926.html

I mean, Michelle Obama wears a lot of flats too.

I don't see how that's relevant.

I do not think flats are appropriate for a conservative office - they are casual shoes! and CL has some really conservative shoes

Agreed, but it depends on the office. Business attire generally means a moderate heel. That's why I pointed to the other discussion so they could read some other opinions from people here.
