so i just rcvd the 36 maudissima in nude today, but they slip off when i walk. i don't like to use insoles..so..I braved the cold today and stopped by the horatio store in nyc and tried on their maudissima in black patent. turns out i'm a 35.5 instead of a 36! either my feet are shrinking, or CL has changed their sizes! ugh.
so I have to return the nude ones and size down to a proper size.
but i tried on tons of shoes while there. so many sparkly shoes all $3K and above! : )
tried on the pigalle spikes in 35.5 and they fit perfectly. i like the nude, but wld prefer them in black. only store that had them was the upper east side store.
so off i went to the madison ave. store. and lo and behold...they were having a SALE. so i'm in big trouble, and ended up getting a pair of satin fuchsia feticha strass in size 36.5 that fit perfectly, and are uber gorgeous.
so now the only thing left is to get the other two pairs on my list: pigalle spike and maudissima in nude
too bad no more money to speak of for that to happen any time soon.
really sad too, bc all the shoes on sale seemed to be my small size!!

Just discovered a site that customizes strass swarovski crystals onto your loubs. kind of like it!!! anyone's thoughts on these vs. the real thing? I can't really tell a difference to be honest.
I'm thinking this service might get more popular if the $3000 price tag on these strass heels don't start going down..
anyone's thoughts on this?

These are gorgeous, but I feel like they'd hurt someone's feet. Like there doesn't seem to be enough material over the toes to feel secure, so whenever someone would walk, they'd have to be straining their toes and latching on for dear life. Does anyone get what I'm saying???

Actually, I got them at the nyc store on madison. They were on sale!!! I saw them in the back and it was labeled LAST PAIR! on the bottom. I tried them on, and they fit perfectly!!
Retail Price: $1295, but the sale was 40% off.
They also had all these gorgeous bright spring colored heels that ALL FIT MY SMALL SIZE and they were ALL ON SALE.. It was so hard to walk away...
