I couldn't agree more. The styling is always impeccable in his collections. But, I wonder is it because the stylist is so good, or because the clothes are so good that it's easy to put them together in a beautiful ensemble.

Really good collection, the cuts, the styling, it´s not very conceptual or experimental but wearable, stylish and interesting, can´t wait to see and wear the pieces, my interest and love for cloak is growing day by day

A nice looking collection! No doubt about that. But to be honest I’m not as excited about this as it appears some of you are. The styling is good however, but I’m having a hard time judging the individual pieces from what I’ve seen in this thread. And to go all crazy about the footwear for instance, I definitely need some more detailed photos or even better seeing it up close IRL.

If the quality hasn’t improved from the Cloak pieces I own or have seen. I’m not so sure I’ll get anything from this collection...

I'm freakin JEALOUS! Why don't they make women's clothes?? It's dark without being drab, it's cute (those romper shorts!) without looking silly, it's edgy without being unflattering to the body. It doesn't scream, "Look, it's a DESIGN!", but you can tell it's been designed. These are really great clothes, I would wear them for work if I were a guy.

I read an interview and he said it is a possibility in the future he would do a womens line. He made the point that many of the clothes look great on women too and I agree!

I think Alexandre is still finding it difficult to top his AW 04 collection...i'm not sure he will tbh...I think i'd consider joining the army, if I knew i'd have the purple hoodie from that collection waiting for me on my release..lol...i've still not given up hope on someone, somewhere, donating me one...lol

last time i was at the cloak store, they had a limited run (50 pairs i think) of 3 styles of the footwear (leather/canvas saddle shoe & two styles of the leather/canvas boots, i think). very nice shoes with a nice rounded (but not too much) toe.

Cool, I'll have to check them out. I saw the samples that they had and I liked them. I'm surprised that they made 'em for the store since they hadn't shown yet, or announced that they were doing footwear. It should be a good way to help launch the store... if they told anyone about it! The original rumor was that they were going to do the footwear through Collection Privee, which would've been really cool. I don't know if they are still going to try to make that happen or not...

^ i was surprised too. it was a nice preview though (i think they also had one of the canvas bags as well; it's all in the central glass case). i asked who made the shoes, and was told they were made by the same company that makes shoes for Valentino. any ideas who that is?
