Clothing/Footwear You Love But Cannot Wear...

-tops that are low cut and expose a lot of chest. plunge necks that go far down but not out towards the sides are ok.
-wide leg jeans (but trousers oddly enough are ok)
-lace
-frilly things (although it might be more that i don't feel right in them than that they actually look awful)
-anklets.. although that's not so much of an issue since i have such thick ankles that i can't usually put them on anyway

but there are two types of this...

1-things that do not suit one's figure...
2-things that do not suit one's personality...

You are so right; I based my answer mainly off #1, but now I'm going to stop and think about the second type.

Colorful prints, or just colors in general, are not part of my personality. I find many colors beautiful but simply do not enjoy wearing them, and for good reason. I like to add a bit of mystery to my outfit by wearing mostly black and/or white and adding in a tiny touch of color, such as in my shoes.

Lately, I haven't been very fond of jeans at all. I find them stuffy and uncomfortable, mainly because I have a tough time finding a pair that is short enough for me.

-small details, small accessories, small jewellery - they look very very small on me, makes me look blurry from far distances

-everything that's baggy, not tight - I have no idea why, I guess I'm not meant to be a skater girl... ever

I have a pretty thin frame...so anything baggy would make me look REALLY skinny. My family always tell me to wear baggier clothes cuz then it would make me look meatier...but I think it's the TOTAL opposite. lol

Really short hair doesn't suit me either. I already have a five finger forehead and with short hair, my hairline looks like its receding.

Skinny jeans, or at least some of the ones I've tried on since they didn't fit me well in the calf area
some of the stuff Kate Moss wears that I couldn't get away with
the Mia Farrow/Jean Seberg pixiecut-I would probably look like a boy or a mannish girl with that cut
haircuts that work best with straight hair-I can have them, but I would like to be able to have those haircuts without having to go out of my way to straighten and smooth out the hair since I like being able to be low maintenance with it.

tunics. I have a longer torso than legs, so I try to keep everything in proportion. No super low-rise jeans, and no tops longer than upper-hip level.

also, heels don't look right on me. i mean, they make my legs look longer, etc. but i look ridiculous in them..it just doesn't suit my style or personality.

another thing...tops or dresses with the elastic right underneath the bust. i'm a 32C and they just look really large when i wear those types of clothing.

and makeup. it's odd, but i feel claustrophobic with it on. and i suppose that does not suit me.

-random ugly outfits, I have friends that wear really ugly outfits and look amazing, i try this and it doesn't work

Specifically, things that I like on other people but do not suit my figure:

- warm colors (clash with my very cool-toned coloring)
- bold prints and chunky jewellery (overpower my delicate features)
- dark lipstick or strong makeup in general (see above)
- high-waisted pants and crop tops (I have long legs and a short torso)
- shirts/dresses that are tight around the stomach (my tummy is my problem area)
- all-around slouchy outfits (don't have the height for it)
- any outfit that is very sharp and tailored (I have a very "young" face and I just end up looking like a little girl playing dress up)
