She’s hosting this week, on October 24th, so if her single isn’t out until next month, I guess she could technically claim this isn’t part of the promo for it. But I’m guessing this is a way to remind your average American that she exists and get them primed for an upcoming release.

Prediction: If Adele gets US Vogue, Anna will get torn to shreds for featuring her after the bantu knots/Jamaican flag bra thing. If she gets British Vogue, Edward will be praised for scoring the Adele cover over Anna and people will claim it as evidence British Vogue is the premier edition.

I think people already forget the Bantu knots thing. Even the one that still care laughs about it more than they want Adele to be “cancel”

Re the hair and bikini, it seems many took it to mean she's paying tribute to Jamaica? People like Naomi posted in support of the image. I will say that I'm amazed to still see the image on her IG.

I just can’t at the whole Bantu Knots debacle. Not because of the cultural appropriation debate but because she looks like Katy Perry in the picture. Just hope her music doesn’t turn as basic as hers.

It seems to get a very different reaction from British people compared to American. Most Brits liked it, as a tribute to Nothing Hill Carnaval (Adele is from that area) and a lot of famous Black Brits like Naomi posted support.

^Nice! Gillian's very photogenic, so fingers crossed British Harper's Bazaar have done her justice. Also, given the fact it's a December cover, I'm hoping for the sight of some festive glamour (something the magazine's done well in the past).

I love her and this makes me very happy! she’s amazing in ‘Sex Education’ but I do know that she’s getting this cover probably because of the Thatcher role in ‘The Crown’.

I suspect it's either Beyonce or Adele on US or UK December Vogue though Beyoncé may get a smaller publication since she will want to push her new drop like she did before with Elle.
