UK The Stylist - Jodie-Turner Smith
Had no idea Phyllis was styling for BV now. Can't believe American Vogue let her and Grace go, and now they are both shooting for British Vogue. Well good for Edward!
Annie Leibowitz is back at the White House today - She's photographing Jen Psaki.
God, I hope it's for Vanity Fair.
I love Jen Psaki! Her passive-aggressive cool, very rarely answering a question directly, and the Lady G tweet for which she got a lot of flak but I found quite hilarious to be honest.
But wow, magazines are really rushing to cover this new administration. I expect we'll see Pete Buttigieg on a cover soon?
Annie shoots non-covers for important figures in politics all the time, so I would be incredibly shocked if this was a cover. Vanity Fair and Vogue have often done these types of stories and I usually find the portraits interesting and the articles well-written, so I'm very much looking forward to a piece on Jen.
Jen is also changing her role at the White House next year. She won't be in the forefront.
She was already photographed by Annie in 2009 for the March issue which had Obama on the cover. credit: vf.com

UK Elle and Harpers seem late
This should’ve been the cover of the isssue.
Nicholas Braun from Succession is the cover of GQ UK July. It’s a bit different for them. Not good, but a bit different.
Agreed. So much better than the actual cover they chose. And it drives me crazy that magazines present these "covers" on their social media, trying to get the clout from featuring trans women (and women of color) without *actually* giving them a cover. Marie Claire did the same thing to Janet Mock a year or two ago.
And surprise… in the issue they only have 2 and half pages, only one picture and “visit our site for more”.
I truly think it’s somewhat disrespectful. The irony is, those three ladies and their show are far more timely and popular than the cover they chose! Their cover even got a significantly higher number of likes on Instagram already than the print cover has managed to garner in the better part of a month.

Vogue Polska with Anna J in the cover is just a supplement?
I believe it's for a standalone issue dedicated to beauty, while Ola Rudnicka fronts Vogue Poland's main June 2021 issue.
Yup, it's vogue beauty supplement, but can be purchased separately from June 10.
