I heard someone talk about it during the Vogue Paris night at the Crillon during the fashion shows... Apparently the special guest editor for the Dec/Jan issue is Laetitia Casta !

Laetitia Casta!?!?!?! I don't mind her, but I could think of 10, 20, even 30 people who are more iconic! If they wanted to pick a French model, one would think they would go for Ines de la Fressange, who has a much larger legacy than Laetitia's! I think Laetitia is beautiful and certainly a notable French model, but I don't necessarily think she is notable enough to guest-edit an issue of VP, joining the names of Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Kate Moss, John Galliano, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Princess Stephanie of Monaco, all who are pretty big figures. I literally cannot imagine what the editorials, which usually focus on the trademarks/attributes of the guest editor, will be about! Should we expect all beauty shots? Maybe all French models inside? Lots of L'Oreal? Some Yves Saint Laurent? A swimsuit editorial? I am bewildered! Very puzzling choice indeed! Hopefully it isn't true ! Though I doubt it... the rumours from fashist always end up being true! I just hope this collaboration is worthwhile! There will most definitely have to be LOTS of skin, which is never a bad thing !

Isn't it her 6th VR cover? She always delivers for Vogue Russia (or in general, yes) so I am excited...don't care wether it's her so-manieth.
