What has Michelle done for our country? She is not the president, mind you. Though she is known for being a stylish first lady, she is not the most stylish woman in the world. Surely there are other women, original women at that, who could be on the cover of Vogue. It's just desperate on Anna/Vogue's part to put the first lady on the cover twice in one year. It would understandable if it were a model because that is regularly done, but for a first lady, it makes no sense. Vogue is repeating Harper's Bazaar last year when they had Lindsay Lohan on the March and December cover...

This is horrible! Michelle Obama is a very respected humanitarian! Also, she is the most interesting first lady in years. She deserves it!

Michelle Obama is one of the best role models America has had for girls in a long time. She has devoted her adult life to working for charities and preaching positive messages to people across this nation, setting fundraising records for non-profit organizations. She has graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law, and proves to young girls all over America that you can do anything. I understand if you don't want her on another cover, but I don't understand why anyone would think that she has done absolutely nothing positive for this country, and why it's considered "desperate" of Anna Wintour to put her on the cover.

To me, it's desperate of Anna to put Blake Lively on the cover, not the elegant and incredibly inspirational only African-American First Lady of the United States that we have ever had in 234 years.
