V64 Preview

Carolyn Murphy returns to V in this 18-page shoot by photographer Sebastian Faena and stylist Alastair McKimm. The surfer supermodel and her flaxen-haired companions prove that blonds really do have more fun.

V64 is on newsstands everywhere March 2, 2010.

There's also the couture supplement to VI March...I hope it's a current model again on the cover and that it's a good cover of course. Didn't really care for Rihanna's cover....Amber's in March last year was aweful. Daphne's was quite good though.

Tomorrow come out french Numero march 2010,I hope cover be berrer than last issue (anna s.)

i really hope Meisel will shoot the HC ed as well again. I miss his coutire eds.

^^ I do indeed miss Meisel's couture eds so much. I'd love a lovely studio one like the epic March 2005 18th century feature. However I'm pretty sure it's still going to be Steven Klein, and honestly the S/S couture looks were so horrid that they don't merit any particularly good editorial features...although I am sure Roversi will do a wonderful spread.

You know, maybe this is just me being wacky but if I were Anna Wintour and I wanted to cause a commotion with a model on the cover of the Shape Issue, I would bypass Lara Stone and go straight to Gemma Ward.

Seriously. It would be major!

And since we don't know who has got the cover just yet I'm going to cross my fingers for that eventuality...

Is it for sure that Gemma will make a comeback this year? I know I remember reading somewhere she would be back this year somewhere..

^ I read about her comeback either on fashionista or fashionologie, definitely.

I'm more than happy to see Gemma on the cover of anything. A US Vogue cover would be amazing, but you know what, I just want her back! I don't care where she reappears!

^If it is Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista or Christy Turlington I'm going to set fire to my issue. I love them but no. NO. Non. Neit. Nyun. Nope. Nann. Nein. Nee. Oxi. Não.

^

I can't imagine why Gemma Ward would want to come back to a business that wanted nothing to do with her when she became a woman.

^ That is a very good point MMA, she might not be interested in modeling at all anymore but I like to hold out the hope that she'll return one day to spite the haters and reclaim her rightful place at the top.

That sounds like the plot to a fantasy novel but I still hope for it ^_^

As much as I  my Gemma and want her to come back (and I am dying for her comeback), I highly doubt she'll be on the cover. She was never a aussie Trentini to Anna.

Do I sound stupid when I say that Doutzen would be a good choice for the cover of the Shape issue?
