La Mer, which uses sustainably hand-harvested sea kelp within its formulations, is once again supporting World Oceans Day – which takes place annually on 8 June – with a special limited edition.
Throughout the month of June a 100ml ‘Blue Heart’ presentation of the brand’s signature Crème de la Mer will be available in travel retail doors worldwide. The special jar design aims to communicate the brand’s ongoing goal of protecting the ocean – the ‘blue heart’ of the planet.
In addition, as in previous years, La Mer is joining forces with the National Geographic Society, and its next generation of ocean explorers. In 2015, the brand will support Dr David Gruber and Shannon Switzer, in addition to National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Dr Sylvia Earle, renowned for bringing the importance of healthy ocean habitats to the forefront of conservation movements worldwide.
