D&G S/S 11 Milan

i love this! beautiful summer dresses, flower patterns, pastel colors... i was waiting for this

I love it and I hate it. Very flowery.

I wish D&G would lay off the 'effing denim. Dunagree denim mini dress? Ew.

i'm obessed.

and the shoes i am converted - i love them now. the patent is gorgeous.

Oh my good!!! I am in LOVE!
I've always loved D&G's theme, and the atmosphere on the runway, and the whole set, and the music.. it was magical. The clothes were so beautiful, they make you wanna wish to be a kid again
I know. I know modernism is all popular and stuff but I really like girly frippery like this. This is totally gonna be my spring look.

loved the floral aspects, not your average D&G collection. Wasn't keen on the denim pieces.

the perfect complement to the menswear collection we saw a couple of months ago: while it's nothing earth shattering in the grand scheme of fashion, this sort of carefree collection definitely has an audience in a world still filled with memories of economic woe. while this stuff might not wind up at a trendy nightclub, an exclusive art gallery, or a stuffy high tea, this stuff will fill up the beaches and resorts in future months because this people don't really want to overthink that part of their lives.

Some floral prints are too vintage for me but I do like most of it. It's definitely very "gardening/70s hippie". Totally overall gorgeous. I'm especially loving the end gowns and Snej'a lace dress. Those romper/wide pants looks are tdf.

they take their themes too literal, like most of the time. there are some nice dresses (the long floral ones were pretty) but i just can't look at it seriously with all these gingham prints and cheesy set up.

Sorry to say but i loved it....the runway was amazing, the end maxi's were lovely too, shoes, bags....they know how to work it

the red checks and denim i hate, but the more low key florals and the maxis were gorgeous. but those SHOES!! :woot:

This is D&G at its best. Very fun, summery, flowery, girly, etc collection. And the whole thing probably looks even better than it is just because of that pretty runway and background.

but it's just the sequel of fall 2008, which is out of the trend already.
the colors and the head scafes remind me so much of Marni, but D&G didn't make it better.

Did we just go back to S/S 2008? :D Anyway, loved it. It was so summery. All the models look beautiful especially with that barely there make-up.

I love this collection, it's very wearable. I adore the bags, and the wedges were pretty, but so high...
