Daily Exercise

I am planning on doing some leg/ab work today. I would love to play tennis, but there is no one around I can play with. :(
Watching the Olympics makes me really want to go exercise crazy!
 
I typically do 30 minutes on the elliptical, not including warm up and cool down. Then I do a lot of stretches and some crunches. I try to only miss one day a week tops. It works very well for me!
 
I never excercise anymore :( I used to be such a good girl and went to the gym atleast 2 times a week. But I've been so lazy this summer.. I think I have to start going again soon.

I do some push ups now and then when I feel like it, but I won't really call that serious excercise :P
 
can anyone tell me a good stretch for the muscle that runs down the back of your leg from just beneath your bum to the top of your knee? thanks!
 
i haven't been able to exercise this week because I got sick Monday afternoon.. massive headache then in the evening it got worse and today i was bed-ridden all day with a massive flu mixed migraine combination...
 
I'm going to a dance class tonight. I stopped going to the gym because it was too boring and I didn't really like the classes. Now I just use my therabands, do mat pilates, stretches and use my "Magic Circle" at home when I can. I take dance classes a few times a week and it makes me so much happier and I learn a lot too.

http://www.med.umich.edu/1libr/sma/sma_snapping_rex.htm These exercises work well for me (I actually have this). I'm not sure what muscle exactly you are talking about, but the piriformis stretch works well for the back of the thigh under the butt.
 
I just moved to NYC, so I've been doing tons of walking of course. I'm going to be bringing my bike here soon, and then I'm going to do yoga.
 
I just got back from 5 days of not caring about my body and totally consumed a disgusting amount of calories and BEER.

I usually post on here that I have done pilates or the elliptical- those are my two excercises.

However- does someone have some advice I can use to get back on track without turning all the grub I ate into muscle? Because I know with the elliptical it bulksup muscle quite a bit.

Today I played like an hour of competitive badminton with my sister. She won, though! :p

to burn all the calories etc that u consumed, you should do weight training, with low weight - 3 sets - 20 times- each exercise(really fast)
use a machine for legs, there´s 2 machines, one for the muscle of the back of the leg and the other one for the mucle of the front of the leg.
For the arms with halteres, 2 exercises, bicep and tricep.
