Daily Exercise

^^ it is dark, like nighttime, at 4 pm? That must be hard, I dont think I could ever adjust to that. I am from hawaii & ca and need my sunshine. I am unhappy that it gets dark at 6pm in the winter. I miss it being light until 8-9 like in the summer.

Yup Kylie I'm from Cape Town,South Africa, and we had a similar light schedule to yours.

Right now, right here,it is pitch dark at 4pm in winter. But then in the summer it is often light until 11pm,so that's kind of wonderful:)

(Of course Scandinavia has even bigger differences, and has any very far northern or southern place...)

I swam for 30 min thismorning at the local pool (no kids there that early, all in school!) and ran for 30 min thisafternoon...

I keep thinking I should pick up the pace and work a bit harder but I'm lazy :-P

Stationary bike for 35min followed buy light weights and lunges

3 mile run this morning and 50 min gym cardio... i wanted to do abs, but i have this severe pain on the left side under my rib :( dunno what it is

My Eye Toy: Kinetic for PS2 routine which consists of cardio, combat and tai chi games. Also did half hour meditation.

Four hours yesterday... A pilates/yoga class, weights, treadmill, rowing machine, step machine and just about everything else.:nuke:

sasscam I had a little trouble keeping still for so long when I started, but it is a great stress reliever and the only way I can wind down after a high energy workout

30 minute's of running/jogging and walking back and forth. I feel much better that I finally got out and am at it again after like 2 weeks off:doh: :innocent: Oh and I was going to do weights afterwards but my brother had wanted someone to help him dig "a cave" and everyone else was busy so I surprised him by going down and helping him dig like 2 feet:p yeah got a little arm workout and spent some time with my little bro:heart: I remember when I wanted to dig a "cave" when I was younger so I'm thinking I'll help him out:lol: Okay that totally got off topic sorry:ninja:

Oh I agree !!! Especially in the shower where you have to literally tighten every muscle to keep yourself in position but move at the same time ... A striptease before also burns extra calories ...

When you go to gym what do you do for warm up and cool down??? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE answer my question .. I am so tired of injuring myself!

i think a perfectly good warm up/cool down would be walking on the treadmill for a few minutes... though i never do it... a bike at a low resistance i think would work as well

butterfly- with the soles of your feet touching, calf stretch, uh the one where you lay on your back and pull your knee towards your chest, lay on your back and pull your right leg over your left, and keep your shoulders on the ground (dunno if that made any sense), make a four with your legs and touch your toes...
