Daily Exercise

yesterday: Day at the Park; Stretched and did a few exercises on their like stretching/strengthning "playground"....Ran two laps (5/8 mile each) at the park, walked a few laps (I kind of speed walk without even meaning to;) ), ran like half a lap.

At Home; Did weights.. curls, overhead exercise (hands behind back holding a 6.6lb dumbell and lifting over my head I didn't do too many reps maybe 20-50?).. Situps (it's sad only 20:doh: but I'm back at it) 200 leg lifts (100 on each leg).. And then I threw the frisbee around with my dad and brother does that count? :lol: :rolleyes:

today: I have to work but I'm going to exercise when I get done around 1:00
 
how do you find the time to do this? i can't ever find time to work on things. every day, i have to get up, shower, dress, eat then go to school. after school i go home and work on homework and all that jazz. then i eat some more, do more homework, read then sleep. wow. i think i need to do stuff to my schedule.
 
I work out after classes but the most important thing is to not treat it like a chore. If you don't have time, just exercise for 20- 30 minutes a day, which is better than not exercising. Exercising should just be something that everyone has to do for the rest of their lives, thus its like any routine you do in life.
 
**my workout schedule**
Mon: Kendo practice after work....that usually lasts about an hour or two....

Tue: Head to the gym after work and use the cycle for an hour or two and then swim few laps in the pool......both of those exercises get my heart pumping good.....:D

Wed:....rest my body day.....do other stuff.....relax....:lol: Relax?!? What's that???:blink: :huh: :lol:

Thur: Kendo pratice after work........

Fri: Weights and treadmill

Sat/Sun: I usually do nothing on weekends but if I really want to I'll go to the gym for an hour and quickly use the cycle and then head home and vegggggg.......:p


I do my work outs at the gym in the evening time......It's best for me because I work pretty early in the morning....6:00 a.m. usually....Sometimes 3:a.m.
But sometimes I can't work out at all for couple of weeks because of my work.....:( If I miss 3-5 practices of Kendo I can't compete in tournaments....which really sux.....:doh: :(

I read somewhere that she swears by the elliptical machine and TaeBo ... and eats fruit and cottage cheese for breakfast, lean fish or chicken with green salad for dinner. Hope this helps:flower:

so far lunges... I've just been doing them randomly like when I go down the hall, etc.. :p
 
Bonchic your dedication is amazing! :flower: Are you working out with a particular goal in mind or do you just love exercising?
 
^^ Actually I kind of stopped for a week or two but I'm getting back to it! I keep changing my goals that way I never like reach a goal and quit! So like once I got off the initial weight then my goal was to go from walking to running, then a 5k, etc.. I really want to tone up everything and have nice lean muscles! ;)

Last night (11:00 or 12:00) 20 situps 50 reps of lifting a 6.6 dumbell (I explained this in a post earlier I just lift with my hands/weight at my back and lift up over my head..) I felt better about going to bed:p
 
on my campus, I don't have a car so it means that I have to walk or catch a ride for anywhere I go. I walk EVERYWHERE I go. But it's not enough, I've found myself getting out of breath when I'm getting to my third floor room. I'm starting a new workout...cuz last semester, I had something else to keep me busy: marching band. I'm not a marcher however, I'm a runner of sorts. This semester, I'm aiming to get back to my lean self when I came to college. Every one keeps telling me that I'm young and I have time. So I'm gonna try this excerise thing again. I worked out everyday this summer and when I went home, I became slack. A big PLUS is that excercise helps me in the classroom. I'm more alert and have more E.

Today: went to the park and stretched on the equipment set up there then did 5 laps (5/8 of a mile each) ran 2, walked one because my side hurt, ran 1 and walked the last one. And stretched and did like 15 :rolleyes: pushups and some other exercises on the strengthening equipment. Came home and did the arm behind back exercise for 50 reps.. I need to do leg lifts and situps later, cause I'm out the door again;)
 
I do some yoga, and some situps for about 45 mins in the morning.
 
This is a typical day for me:

-65 minutes tred mill
-crunches/reverse crunches
-obliques
-bicep/tricep
-leg press
-inner/outer thighs
-butt lifts
-stretches
 
wow, that's pretty impressive.
I'd never last 65 minutes on a treadmill. 20 min max for me lol..
