Daily Exercise

I did a half hour on the treadmill...I was lazy tonight, but tomorrow I am going to do an hour on the tread and yoga:)
 
wow you guys can do 30-60mins on a treadmill. I can only last 5 minutes without my legs getting numb.

14 steps down the stairs, 40 crunches, 5 mins on the treadmill and 14 steps up the stairs
 
Today I did some light stretching, around 15 - 20 minutes max of cardio (jump-roping) then several minutes of pilates.

P.S. Yes, those who can continuously do moderate to heavy cardio such as running (treadmill or otherwise) for more than 30 minutes straight without going numb are AMAZING.
 
I'm flu-y which majorly sucks. Is it a very bad idea to excercise when ill? I'm sure it must be but I can't wait to start again.
 
I have a question: do you guys exercise before or after eating something (of course after a break)?

The rule of thumb is if you're sick from the neck up, you can exercise. Neck down, give it a miss.

A head cold is fine, but a chest infection is bad. If you really have a flu with muscle aches and a fever I'd definitely give it a miss - lots of fluids and enjoy the rest :flower:
 
I ahven't worked out in ages and it's starting to show. Ick. Well I did have exams in December, and then I had no access to the gym during the holidays.. and then a week and a half ago I sprained my foot and it still hurts a bit and it's a bit swollen. I hope I can get back to the gym soon..
 
I did an hour on the tread and then I went to the park w/a friend so I did a total of 6.5 miles today...I will be feeling it tomorrow!
 
Yesterday I didn't do too much besides cleaning an entire house! But I did do some situps (with my legs on the couch... man that's hard for me:doh: )
 
Ok, after reading this clearly I am not doing enough to lose weight. I do like an hour of cardio and abs and alternate lower and upper body and am trying to eat 1500 calories a day. Do I need more cardio?

I went horseriding for about 2 hours this morning :heart:
 
75 minutes of weights an toning class. Great stuff,now I get to spend the rest of my weekend in pain...:D
 
I have been ill (flu) for more than a week so my daily exercise is reading mags, watching tv and browsing internet from the bed. :p
On normal days i do stretching every day (or lift weight rarely) before having shower and going to bed.

Always after, usually before Im going to bed. If I exercise before eating, I just get tired. Even though exercise is suppose to wake you up.

10 minutes rowing machine
10 minutes elliptical
10 mins weird new machine in the gym....like a rollerblading motion
15 mins v fast walk on treadmill (hills)

Weights - seated row, biceps, triceps, lunges, lat pulldown

:muscles:
