Daily Exercise

welll i didnt do some in like 5 days...

i usually walk on the treadmill for 20 mins, and do crunches for my tummy and run and use thigh crunches too and then do yoga.
not forgetting i do belly dancing classes which keep me fit:)

Im supposed to be doing 4 hours a week on the treadmill....so far have only done two hours since 2006.

It's too hot. I know, it's a poor excuse.

Ran 2 miles, 300 crunches, and some leg lifts at the gym. I feel great! Tomorrow is the 2nd day of my cardio kickboxing class and I'm so excited!

Ok. I just want some advice on exercising. The thing is I'm thin so I don't need to lose weight. I just want to have a more curvy body but still look thin. I want to have Jessica Alba's body or Fergie from the Black Eye Peas in the "Hey Mama" video. What do I do to achieve that look?

well about Jessica's body I've been told tae bo and goodness I think I've read somewhere recently what some other things she does but I cannot remember. I would like to remember because her body is fab:flower:

Today I ran a mile and walked 3. The wind was blowing so hard it was amazing:o I mean it was nice and sunny and great when I was going the direction the wind was blowing but it was a struggle going the opposite directiong:doh:

Babysat 3 kids which proved to be very physical because I jumped on the trampoline with them for around an hour or so, plus part of that time I was doing push up type of things with one 5 year old on my back and 2 two year olds going under me like I was a bridge:shock: Yeahh my arms got a workout:lol:

1hr on the treadmill
30 minutes on bike
20 minutes on stepper
20 minutes with ball
20 minutes with weights

I think I might have overdone it a bit today because i'm aching all over now.

about an hour of gym cardio- escalator, sprints, and cross trainer leg thingy

I've never posted in here.

So the holidays kind of caught up with me since a)I've been eating about double what I normally eat, and daily; b)I haven't exercised at all, which I normally do every other day.

Anyway it has kind of taken a toll on my rear end--it went from 35 inches to 36.5. I know it's not much to complain about, but I want to get it more toned and back to how it normally was. So I want to use that butt machine at gyms--don't know the exact name but I'm sure it's at like every gym.

What I'm wondering is, will this do the trick so I can slim down to where I was? Or do you think I would build muscle and just get a bigger behind? Lol

Thanks for your help in advance

unfortunately there's no such thing as spot reducing :( so your butt may get bigger before it gets smaller, i would recommend increasing your cardio in addition to the "butt machine" to loose the weight and tone up.

Thanks. :)
Are there any exercises (cardio) that you would reccomend?
I'm quite uninformed when it comes to gym equipment.

30 minutes on bike
10 minutes on rowing machine
+ stretching

Chasing after a persistant lil bugger I call nephew....does that count?

It makes you tired, but you can't fall asleep...from the bugger poking you when he sees you falling asleep and from the seething built up anger and frustration still there.

No wonder moms love yoga so much :ninja:

Tomorrow, its off to pilates and maybe even a run or swim.

a lot of gym beginners gravitate towards the elliptical, which is quality cardio in my opinion... i personally think that the "escalator" machine burns the most calories, as it seems to be the most challenging. But really if you go into a gym, any variation of the cardio equiptment will be good!

1hr on treadmill
30 minutes on bike
20 minutes on ball

30 minutes playing 'it' with my little sister - lots of running

2 hours on the treadmill.

This week for me is exercise week cos I've been lazying around for the past month so it's time for to get back to exercising again.
