Daily Exercise

I was supposed to do strength training with my personal trainer but she never showed up. :( (At least she called me to explain why, apologized and gave me a free session.) So I decided to do some cardio today:

30 minutes on the treadmill (3.5 speed with no incline)
20 minutes on the elliptical
10 minutes on the bike (2.37 miles)
stretching
 
40 minutes elliptical
40 minute walk with dog through woods
a bit of stretching
 
yesterday: 1hr weights, 15min treadmill and 20mins cross trainer
today: 45min cycle class and abs :)
 
My usual cardio routine:

30 minutes on the treadmill (3.5 speed with no incline)
20 minutes on the elliptical
10 minutes on the bike (2.40 miles!)
stretching
 
Yesterday:
60 min. with Pilates personal trainer (mat, cadillac, and reformer work)

Day before:
30 min. elliptical
stretching
meditation
 
35 minutes on treadmill uphill
40 minutes dumbell (bicepts + tricepts)
15 minutes leg exercises
25 push ups (tried my best)
 
Yesterday

60 tricep dips
30 squats
30 step ups
10 minutes hip/thigh exercises
stretching
30 minutes jogging

sore, sore, sore
 
thursday 40 mins of pilates
friday = 40 min walk
saturday= car stuck in snow= 2 hours of shoveling= so sore
today= 9 hours of busy waitressing

I did 20 mins treadmill
15 mins eliptical
10 mins bike
10 mins dumbells
40 sit ups on swiss ball
40 squats
20 lunges

I do this routine 3 times a week at the gym and am seeing great results oh except my tummy is not as toned as Id like it :(
 
1 hour crosstrainer. I :heart: this machine so much!

Shaamur maybe you could mix your routine up a little. I find I get the best results when I really challenge my body (go harder, faster, lift heavier or do something totally different). If you are doing the same thing week in week out then your body will adjust to it which will hinder progress. Good luck with it and dont be afraid to really push yourself! You will be suprised at how much your body will love and can handle a challenge :flower:
 
3.5K run outdoor
40 minutes dumbell (bicepts&tricepts)
20 minutes of leg exercises
+
sewing (If that counts at all)
 
20 min walking (to and from the gym)
60 min step class
60 min bodypump class
 
1 hour of strength training with my personal trainer

& I walked home from the gym (it took about 40-50 minutes but I did make a couple of stops on the way home)

I'm a dork - I searched high and low looking for a thread like this, but couldn't find one and started another! God knows how I missed it. :wacko:

Still, it's not exactly what I was looking for though.. you all seem to be just posting what you've done, whereas I was hoping for a thread to actually discuss it a bit more, and to chat about different exercise types and to share tips and advice, that sort of thing. :muscles:

Would anyone be interested? I'll put the thread link below, anyway. :flower:
