I was supposed to do strength training with my personal trainer but she never showed up. (At least she called me to explain why, apologized and gave me a free session.) So I decided to do some cardio today:
30 minutes on the treadmill (3.5 speed with no incline)
20 minutes on the elliptical
10 minutes on the bike (2.37 miles)
stretching
Shaamur maybe you could mix your routine up a little. I find I get the best results when I really challenge my body (go harder, faster, lift heavier or do something totally different). If you are doing the same thing week in week out then your body will adjust to it which will hinder progress. Good luck with it and dont be afraid to really push yourself! You will be suprised at how much your body will love and can handle a challenge
I'm a dork - I searched high and low looking for a thread like this, but couldn't find one and started another! God knows how I missed it.
Still, it's not exactly what I was looking for though.. you all seem to be just posting what you've done, whereas I was hoping for a thread to actually discuss it a bit more, and to chat about different exercise types and to share tips and advice, that sort of thing.
Would anyone be interested? I'll put the thread link below, anyway.
