15 minutes on the treadmill (3.5 speed with 1.0 incline)
15 minutes on the treadmill (3.4 speed with 3.0 incline)
15 minutes on the bike (5.55 miles

I'm home now after completing my freshmen year at college, and I have decided to get back into shape, but I've been exercising fairly solidly for the past 2 weeks and I'm not really noticing a difference especially in the stomach and thigh areas. I don't really know what to do.
Today:
30 mins on strides machines
1 hour yoga class
I do variations of this at least 3 or 4 times a week, and the other days I may do a yoga and then an hour of pilates or 45 minutes of muscle training.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this, the calories burned that the machine tells you, how accurate would you say that was?
I also spent a day baking a couple days ago... and that was not the greatest idea as I've been gorging on sweets since..:blush:
 
How do you guys keep the motivation for regular excercise? I always have spurts of motivation to work out, but that lasts like a week and i go back to being a couch potato!

I agree with what's been said so far.

I also think that doing exercises that you like or are interested in helps a lot. It eventually becomes something you enjoy as opposed to a chore or an obligation.

Going at your own pace is a good way too IMO. I remember when I felt so tired after using the elliptical for 5 minutes, but I slowly built my endurance over the months. Now I can stay on for up to 30 minutes without feeling too tired! :clap:

in the morning in the gym:

30 min on elliptical! :woot:
20 pilates exercise

in the afternoon outside:

30 km on the bike from my hometown to the Holly Hill :angel: but killer for my legs!

and now I´m going to bed :lol:
 
whenever i go to the gym, which is usually like 2-3 times a week, i :

run for 35 mins on the eliptical (about 3.5-4 miles, 300-400 cals burned)
100-200 situps
50-100 crunches
30 leg lifts
bridges and downward dog poses
50 squats w/ 4 pound weights
8 reps of 10 weights for arms

and then i usually do about 100 situps in the morning, 100 at night everyday
