Daily Exercise

:woot: Great work everyone!!!

This morning: 20 minutes weight training - used barbells in variations to work the arms (biceps, triceps, wrists), shoulders, and lower body (lunges/squats).
This afternoon: Again ran 2.2 miles - tried running at moderate pace for 2 minutes, sprint 1 minute, alternating.

Keep up the great work, all! And keep posting!!! :D:flower:

Tonight went swimming- 20 laps
walked 2 miles
Knee is very sore and tired now!
 
Last night:

10 mins on the treadmill to warm up
2 sets of hip adduction
2 sets of hip abduction
2 sets of chest press
2 sets of squats
2 sets of crunches
2 sets of bicep curls (w/ jumps)
2 sets of leg raises
2 sets of abs crunches
finished with a session of foot massage :blush:
 
i swear i spend so much on workout clothes!
now i end up wearing all black because its so hot & sweaty lol

skipped tonight..oy..what a day! it was going well until we went outside for astronomy lab "to look at stars" for 2 hours in 50 degree weather! then i was just cranky and tired so no gym tonight. but when i go later on today, im gonna focus on cardio. i dunno, kind of worried about getting bored. i guess ill just daydream, usually ill stare at the tv but thinking of something else haha what do you guys do to stay focused? if i only think about working out, ill just get fed up and discouraged because it feels sooo long. some people can read while running! i think its amazing, i cant really do it. and music is meh for me, havent been able to update ipod in months so im always skipping songs. i feel so uninspired!

Is needed lot of pacience and will to go to the gym and besides in my case I have to walk to get there.
So in this moment I will stop with the gym because Im bored and without pacience so I will make a break to come back in June...so this month I will just do swimming.

yeah there´s a lot of ppl who read while running and that causes damages to your eyes so...never do that:flower:
 
oh i feel the same!! but the good thing is, i think it is okay to skip the gym when you are totally not motivated. it gives you a night off, then the next day you're twice as motivated because you skipped. that's how i feel anyways!

as for staying focused... i feel bored with my music sometimes, but i try to add new stuff every week to change it up. try upbeat music, like Girl Talk! i also watch tv, but mostly daydream.... i think about my life, about my friends.... i people-watch, too. i try not to look at the time and just follow the beat of the music.

*some lady at the gym who was on the bike next to mine just pressed 'stop' on my bike (i had it set for 10 min), reset it and set it for 35 min!! i don't know what that was all about-- i'm living in seoul for one year so i'm a foreigner, maybe she thought i did not understand. it was so odd!!!! LOL.

I will do a break because Im without pacience and the exams are coming, I loose always 2.30 min at the gym so...I will do 3X a week swimming I think is ok because is only 45 min each time.

That is weird, she said anything to u?
 
no... i don't think she could speak English at all, and I don't speak Korean.... she just looked at my timer and reset it all of a sudden. back home i would have lost it on her, but here the culture is different so i just smiled i rode the bike for 35 minutes hahaha!
 
That is totally weird, if she´s not one of the instructors of the place she doen´t have the right to do that, if it happened with me I wouldn´t shup my mouth and watch.

lol! well i was very puzzled, a part of me wanted to flip out and get angry, but i know people here like when things are done the right way, so i figured she was only trying to help me and be nice. it was very odd, though, but it's a fun anecdote!
 
I ran 3.75 miles last night. ^_^
I refueled with salad and Jell-O.

It was such a good run!
 
Great job everyone :flower:.

Yesterday went for an hour walk and did my ab workout. Today I ran for 45 minutes and again ab workout.
 
Tubo Jam Cardio Party 3 - 50mins
Pilates-Buns/Thighs - 18mins
Abs b4 bed :)
 
Today:
Stretch , warm up.
Twelve sets of squats.
Eight sets of leg extensions.
Dumbbell Oblique Side Bends, eight sets.

ive tried it before when i had to study...it makes me dizzy, id probably pass out on the treadmill! it would be so embarassing! :lol:

yeah me too, i work harder if i skipped the day before!

i dont know what is up with me & music right now, im just not feeling anything and have nothing to update my ipod with! ugh i will just have to stick to daydreaming and people watching! its fun until they look your way and you have to act like youre lookin at something else or sometimes i smile at them just for the fun of it. ^_^

my gym will be busier nowadays because the other one is closed down for remodeling..which means more new faces!

whoa if some lady touched my machine while i was on it, id be pissed! especially if i was in the zone.. id hate to have to restart and then trying to figure out the numbers after im all done like adding the old time with the new time, miles, calories etc.. i hate math as is. i wouldnt have said anything either, its not like she could understand it but i look mad or annoyed :angry:
 
yes exactly! ^_^ it was indeed annoying but i'm trying to stay open-minded...

do we have a thread about good gym playlists? i need some new workout music ideas.

I only heard what I like...for me it can be any kind of music whatever the place I am :flower:
