Daily Exercise

40minutes of running in sunshine. it is so warm so i was not interested to go to gym.

This morning, 40 min of football, I almost died with this freakin heat:ermm:

Although it might appear minute next to your reports of exercise... I did 5 minutes of skipping and now I'm off for a 7 hour shift at work!!! AHHHHH.

Hey I just did my ten minutes of skipping.. going to do some Yoga in a bit. Skipping works!

Today

  • Gym:
- 7 min of elliptical
- 5 min of stretching
- 2:00 of weight training (legs, shoulders, chest, bicep, tricep, backs)
- 10 min of elliptical to finish the training

20 minutes of swimming- had to stop because my leg started hurting really bad. The muscle in my upper thigh hurts, almost like I pulled it or something.

^^Oh dont tell me about it. I had to stop with the swimming about almost 2 months ago b/c I got a injurie on the right leg lower muscle. I coulnt hardly walk over a week.
And 2 weeks ago I did a run by about 2 km and then when I arrived at home the muscle started to hurt again, dont know why bc I do intensive elliptical at the gym and everything is ok with the muscle.

I think you should stop for awhile to get better soon, you made me remember the enormous pain that I had when that happened, felt like my muscle was getting off of my leg.

Today:

I did do 30 sit ups

Tomorrow:
Swimming for half an hour
60 sit ups
hm what else can I do...pilates and yoga! to make up for my lazy day today.

I love lazy days.. but tonight it's 45 on the treadmill and then roughly 30-45mins doing a variety of weights and sit ups..

I've got a little checklist to do.

Thanks for the advice Filipe! I've decided to not swim until Monday again. I've never even pulled a muscle before, so I don't know if its a serious injury or just a little something. And it's the muscle right where your upper thigh meets your body, which is strange. I figure, I wont risk seriously injuring myself. I will just rest a few days and do some stretching at night.
And whoo, I'm impressed with your workouts, great fitness stamina! :flower:

What u felt when you got the injurie? your muscle got so damage that u had to get off the pool immediatly?

Dont forget that is a muscle injurie, so it takes a lot of time(depends how injuried it is) to get better.

In my case my injurie was so big that I got K.O. lol during a week.

I believe you pulled your inner thigh muscle-- I had those pulls until I learned a few stretches. When it's better, gradually try a few stretches such as laying onto your back, putting your feet into the air (back still on the floor) then gradually pull your legs apart in a split. Second, try sitting, tuck one leg in, spread the other out to the side and lean over towards the leg that's stretched out, it helps immensely and I learned the stretches from ballet. I haven't had another inner thigh injury and it's been fantastic.
