Dario Vitale - Designer, Creative Director of Versace

exactly. truly unbelievable we are watching THIS unfold.
Id love to hear Donatellas point of view on this.
I bet everyone will get fired because of this.
There's no way she would say anything about this collection. This is an utter PR nightmare like we've never seen before in our lives. This is one of the top ten most famous brands in the world. I bet everyone in milan is in shock !

Here a little brighter…but same effect lol

Anything sloppy and over-criticized Donatella has done in recent years is pure haute couture compared to this.I hadn't anticipated Vitale, but this is truly one of the lowest points in Versace history. It seems obvious to me that a co-direction with Donatella and another designer (maybe Tisci, maybe Vaccarello, maybe De Vincenzo) and supported by a REALLY competent stylist suitable for Versace. I'm really sorry, until a couple of years ago Versace was the event I looked forward to most in Milan, even though the collections haven't been the best lately.

Donatella truly was a heavy weight for Versace. She made it none label very cheap while Gianni made statement! And this is a statement. Bravo Vitale! So glad Versace is getting back!

I LOVED everything! So excited!!!
I write this with respect but i dont know if you are being totally serious or sarcastic
lol

I am serious. He is amazing designer. Fashion is not plastic and bland what Donatella was. Fashion is a statement. I hated her Versace. It was time for change.

I actually start to like new guy in McQueen, new Celine, Burberry got back at his feet. This is very cool. Prada is steady… I don’t like new Bottega and def not new Dior.

I honestly (no offense) with the respect wouldn’t be surprise if you actually love JW Anderson in Dior.

i really like your opinion actually, its fresh and unlike others which is why i wanted to struck a conversation with you!
to start off-i hate JWA in Dior. so far its been a huge disappointment and so pretentious. i love the new Prada but have many many questions about prices
I cant wrap my head around Vitale at Versace and this show was the nail in the coffin because everything from fabrics to styling to the main theme was just so out of place its overwhelming

I loved the prints, reminds me so much on good old times. I actually need to give him a credit that he went so far that nobody expected. You know Vacarello in YSL is not bad but he is a copycat of Slimane, and Blazy was a copycat of Daniel Lee in BV. And probably will be Karl’s in Chanel. I like that Vitale took the hard side and risked. He is believing in his own vision. It was surely big pressure for him. But don’t forget that he build Miu Miu, no 1. Brand now. So I think he know what he is doing. Bags were amazing. I still don’t own any Versace bag but that will change.

i think theres a thin line between having your own vision and having zero talent and taste and pushing it as something meaningful and the latter is Vitales case here unfortunately. or/and it can also be that the team is not structured and other factors fall in place as well of course. where's his vision?everything from location to what we see on social media is so random. the casting was so lazy also

That is your opinion and I respect it.

I have my own. I loved it! Every single thing. You didn’t and that is totally okay! 🙃
