Outside of the cool gay topic lol and regarding Dona’s favourites I wonder if Cillian and Anne will remain Versace faces?

I don't think Dona had anything to do with Cillian's appointment as global brand ambassador, it's purely a Marketing / PR choice (alas the Ariana Grande fiasco x Givenchy...I refuse to believe Clare had anything to say about that)
Versace current celebs lineup is tragic by the way: kinda irrelevant and completely unfitting to the brand image (Cillian is a Prada man, not Versace...), the forced south korean celebs endorsements to bait the gen Z and the kpop dumb kiddos feel so forced and cringe...I pity Ghesquiere who has to deal with Lisa and Felix who can only come up "...oh it's beatiful..." for any question they are asked

I’d love to fully agree you but nothing can be done with Donas / CDs confirmation unfortunately so they probably proposed Cillian and she agreed or vice versa but she was still fully aware I’m certain
The k pop stars that nobody truthfully cares about is really tragic but also shows how desperate they are to up the sales in apac….. :(

just stating his own words he mentioned in many interviews ...its also ok to not out people no matter how queer or gay they are :-)

but i am just teasing you i dont care about manhood ...still love your cool /good gays comment :-) living rent free in my brain

We should create a thread for all the off topic themes that we talk about...will be better i think ot keep the threads more focused...but im too lazy to think a name or create it...it's been a rough monday lol...

Versace or “One, no one, and one hundred thousands”

Who is in charge of Versace style strategy? Donatella Versace role has been harshly downgraded by a decision of the Capri Holding top management. Dario Vitale from Miu Miu will take over, in his statement he forgot to mention Santo Versace among the founders of the brand. Without Santo the Versace brand could not exist, but these “young” designers apparently lack knowledge or perspective.

Donatella did not even have the time to say a proper goodbye with a fashion show finale. That’s not respectful for a woman was part, we like it or not, of the history of fashion.

It seems that John Idol wanted a transition of the brand towards the quiet luxury, toning down the brand DNA but also mixing it with a YSL approach. How the CEOs will ever understand that you cannot disrupt the features of a brand without mining irreparably its foundations taking them to a point of no return? Will this barman approach to brands take the industry to the final collapse?

“Not my Idol” a dear friend highlighted in a conversation some time ago (and we also wanted to make a t-shirt out of it!) maybe Donatella will do it…

It seems that there are too many heads on the style and not enough on the business management, everybody wants to be a designer.
Especially CEOs, fortunately we only had a disgraced example of a designer turned also CEO at Burberry. Can we stay within the traditional roles, please?

Somebody says that the Prada-Bertelli family flew to NY in these days. So have they agreed to have Versace oust Donatella to try to make of the brand a new subsidiary of Prada like they tried with Fendi at the beginning of the 2000s?
