MILAN — The specter of a four-day Milan Fashion Week, which exhausted many in the industry last September, was wiped away last week when the Italian Chamber of Fashion put out its first draft of the schedule for the shows, which are slated to run Feb. 16 to 23.

winter always seems to come around faster than spring

Because it does The seasons are not exactly six months apart. The start of the Fall shows is five months after the start of Spring shows. The start of the Spring shows is therefore seven months after the start of the Fall shows. Hope that makes sense. I know it might sound a bit confusing, but there's definitely a reason one seems to come around faster than the other

Paris Haute Couture F/W 08.09 will be from June 30th (Mon) to July 3rd (Thu) 2008.

Paris Menswear Spring 2009 will be from June 26th (Thu) to June 29th (Sun) 2008.

Paris Prêt-à-porter Spring 2009 will be from September 27th (Sat) to October 5th (Sun) 2008.
