argh i can't stand this girl's style. am i the only one? everything she wears looks so tacky but i always come back here because she is so pretty and i still have hopes for her :(

i think she wishes she could dress like taylor momsen, but can't because of disney and their whole "image". i see her look becoming a lot more sexy and risque when she's moved on from camp rock and sonny with a chance.

^i don't think so... althought they both are rock chicks wannabes, their style is different.

Taylor is a indie rock wannabe. she dresses like every indie/ it girl from NYC . sometimes she pulls of really cool stuff, but most of the time she looks really cheap with that heavy make up and clothes that aren't age appropriatte at all.

about Demi, i don't think she even knows what indie and "it girl"s means
she likes hard rock and metal bands. she just want to be a punk girl. but her ideal punk girl is probrably Avril Lavigne or Ashley Simpson

That's all very possible. Demi is more like rock with a pop edge. And for the record, I know more of Taylor Swift than Taylor Momsen, so I can't talk about Taylor Momsen except that she looks... a little all out there. Anyhow, Demi Lovato could very well fill the void when moving on from Disney and "Sonny With a Chance." I like Demi MUCH more than Avril Lavigne, whom I've never liked and never had a favorite song of hers. You know... where in music will she be when she becomes 21? We'll have to see where her music interests lie when that time comes.

I just feel like Disney is holding her back. I see her becoming MUCH more interesting once she's moved on, which I don't see happening for AT LEAST 2 more years.

Disney holds everyone back, what do you expect? They are brainwashing the children of america.

I don't have a problem with Disney though. The image they force upon their stars is fine with me - but I'm just excited to see what happens with these Disney stars once they break away from the mold they're in right now.

I don't think Disney is brainwashing anyone. If you're going to star in a Disney show then you must know the kind of image they want you to have and the behavior they expect. It's not like Demi was a little kid when she first started working with them, so she must have had some idea of what she was getting herself into imo.
