Denim shorts

I am so amazingly happy to find this thread. I was just needing to ask.....

How loose is too loose for denim shorts cuffed up?
And does it look bad loose? In your opinion?

I am wearing a pair of my dads old levis (that I cut off) which are pretty loose...like the alexander wang ones. And wonder how far is too far on the loose scale.
I see Strawberry's are loose and they look amazing on her.
Just curious what you guys think...

I kinda like the cutoff denim look, but am way too scared to wear them myself.... I haven't worn anything shorter than knee-length for the past 20 years

I like them, but it's takes good pins to pull them off! I can't help but think trailer trash when i see them in that short daisy dukes way...

But sometimes they can look stunning... wearing them with tights is a good idea, considering how cold it is here!

i think it only looks like trailer trash when people look bloated and dirty.
i don't even think twice when i see someone wearing them, it's so common.

They have allllll kinds of denim shorts right now at Forever 21..every color, size, and style. I bought three pairs today :/ and they were only about 15 bucks each!

^same here, f21 has great denim shorts. They fit really well too! They have a bunch of the rolled up bottoms they are so cute. I have to go back soon to buy more shorts for the summer.
