I've always liked Derek Lam's aesthetics and while there is nothing groundbreaking out this, it is a good solid collection. Gorgeous shoes.

Thanks for posting those - I was actually shooting the backstage of the show, was standing at the lineup about 10' from the catwalk entrance during the entire show so I actually managed to see very little of the fashion. It was one of those collections that you could feel the elegance of before the models were even dressed in it.

I was shooting behind-the-scenes photos and video for Shiseido, who did all the makeup for that show...that was definitely my favorite of the shows I covered for them this week. The bummer was, since I was backstage the whole time, the only part of the actual show I got to see was the coverage posted in places like this!
