Dermalogica

yes it is, it's for those spots you get from the sun and scars, freckles etc :)

I have some spots which I would like to get rid of, but can't seem to find many reviews of it

^is it a sort of 'whitening' line ?
If so they probably tested it on an asian consumer market first, as whitening products are so popular in Asia.. maybe some of our members from that part of the world would be able to offer some insights ? :flower:

Hmmm makes sense, strawberrynet's ebay account seems to be shipping these from hong kong.

I have a slight issue with pigementation so I'd be willing if I can find a kit to be a reviewer for you tfs ladies.

yeah I think I'm also going to try it :), but it's a load of products to use!

Usually if there's a full line of targeted treatment products, and the entire line would be probably expensive for the 'normal consumer' to purchase it all, but get samples, and the product that contains the highest percentage/concentrate/amount of the ingredient that lightens is most likely in the serum. I dont know if this is true of the Dermalogica line for pigmentation, there used to be a whitening line called Bright Light or Night Bright or something, this might be a re-formulation of those products?

yes the night bright and day bright can't be bought anymore, this is their new line :) but it are a lot of products to use, so maybe I'll wait or try out a few of them

I use it, it's ok :) (but it's the first eye cream ever for me) at the beginning little itching but it stopped after 2-3times using it

I have 2 samples laying around, but I'm using another revive sample at the moment, will be able to tell more next week

I've been using the intense eye repair for 3 days now, no irritation and moisturizing enough for me :) nice product

now on another note, lately I've been getting some breakouts on my chin and left cheek, just a couple but they are really annoying

I used to have more breakouts in the past but due to my new skin regime it has lessened

anyway I wanted to try out a spot treatment for these acne spots and was thinking about the overnight clearing gel maybe? what are the thoughts on it? or other good recommendations welcome off course!

The overnight clearing gel is good. Is the special clearing booster the skin coloured liquid? If it is then I didn't like it, it was too runny.

I didnt like the Clearing Booster myself. I agree with Deborah, too runny, it felt like pressing water into the skin, and I think it irritated my skin for a second when I applied it, so I washed it off.

^^Sounds like a good drying salveshoegal87 but I bet you need a prescription for it in US, and I dont have acne, just the occasional bump on my jawline or from shaving, its Horrible, I purposely tweeze out ingrown hairs on my neck, :yuk: but Biologique recherche's P50V works so so SO good at this, but I ran out, and Im broke:cry:

I've already tried two masks from dermalogica:
-the medibac one (at dermatlogist) and it was too irritating for my skin
-sample 2x of intese moisture masque I think, which made me breakout

I also only have an occasionely breakout (mostly chin or bit further at under cheek) but it's so annoying and hard to get rid of it!

LetThemEatCake are you sure you need a prescription in the Us for that? I don't have acne either and believe me this is perfect! I found it out because my bf had a huge cyst and 2 of the 3 doctors who had visited him told him that the only way to get rid of it was going under surgery. The third doctory instead gave him this ointment, he applied it on the cyst for 3 days and on the third day it was GONE! And it wasn't a usual breakout, it was the size of an apricot!!

The only problem is the smell.

Valkyrie I wanted to try the clay mask (i think it was clay i'm not sure) because I have oily skin, I tend to breakout every now and then but part of it is because of my diet, I eat lots of junk food when I have lots of exams like now

I just graduated from school to be an Aesthetician and have experience with dermalogica.

I recommend Special Cleansing Gel, Daily Microfoliant, Multi-Toner, Skin Smoothing Cream and Solar Defense Booster spf30 ( can be added to moisturizer). These products can be used on any skin condition.

For other products for specific conditions, what are the problems you are having with your skin?

If you are using intense moisture masque, that is actually making the oily skin worse. You are using an occlusive.

I suggest use Colloidal Masque or Plankton Masque. You can use purifying botanical mixer as well, though it is optional.
