Which designer's archives would you like to raid?

I'd love to go through: Galliano's (both for his label and Dior), Gianni Versace's, McQueen's, Gucci's, Gres and as much as I hate the man, YSL's.......geez I could probably go on forever.

I think everybody knows who I'd pick

I know you'd pick Tom Ford!

At this very moment for practical reasons, Ermenegildo Zegna.

Honestly I would like to raid Dirk Bikkimbergs' archives, because I think his earlier work is so much better than this sports direction he took upon arriving in Milan. I still have and love his old gorgeous heavy knit sweaters/cardigans and his masculine highest quality footwear.

For sure....NOT

There's a coat, that I dreamt of having from an early J.P.'s collection....it was the one with the bits of white chiffon outlining the edges.

I also wouldn't mind raiding for some of Bernhard Willhelm's earlier pieces.

I think I remember the coat. Was it black in color, with greyish chiffon?

Yup. There's a similar coat on the MOMU.be site in their collection section.

Its quite an Edward Scissorhands piece
